5 Spring 2015 Trends to Wear Now:

Over the last four weeks, we've seen some stellar pieces and trends come down the runways in New York, London, Milan and Paris, but now we have to wait six whole months until we can get our hands on them (with a few exceptions, like marketing mastermind Jeremy Scott's new collection for Moschino, which you can buy right now). While the exact items we're lusting after haven't even made it into production yet, we used them as inspiration to do some current-season shopping, and luckily, there's plenty on the market right now that echoes the themes of the spring 2015 shows.

Read on to shop pieces inspired by some of our favorite spring trends, and get yourself ahead of the fashion curve this fall.

Candy-Colored fur

This trend, as seen at Coach, Sonia Rykiel, Giamba and more, seems more appropriate for fall than it does for spring, so we're getting in on it ASAP.

Go for Gingham

The classic checked fabric appeared in the luxe spring collections by Oscar de la Renta, Diane von Furstenberg and Altuzarra, and you can never really have enough of this stuff. For fall, why not opt for a darker shade of gingham, like navy or black.

Rave Babe

Rainbow brights and shiny fabrics were all over the runways, from Jeremy Scott and Marc by Marc Jacobs in New York to Ashish and Fyodor Golan in London. You can shop a similar aesthetic — in the form of acid bright sweaters and holographic sneakers — right now for fall.

Done Up in Denim

Designers took the basic blue jean to new heights for spring. Head-to-toe denim and new silhouettes in the classic fabric showed up on the runways at Gucci, Adam Selman, Stella McCartney and many more, proving that you truly can't go wrong by investing in a piece of denim every season.

Good Sport

Even if you don't consider yourself an athlete, you'll probably find yourself dressing like one from time to time come spring. Sporty details — from performance-inspired fabrications like mesh to athletic-inspired stipes and trims — were key elements at Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone, Public School and more. Since the activewear trend is already going strong on the market, there's plenty of sporty fashion available to shop right now.
