Jennifer Lawrence Wows In Oscar De La Renta Dress At Elle Women In Hollywood Awards

Jennifer Lawrence Wows In Oscar De La Renta Dress At Elle Women In Hollywood Awards: Jennifer Lawrence looked amazing as she took to the stage at the Elle Women in Hollywood Celebration on Monday to present an honorary award to her "Hunger Games" co-star, Elizabeth Banks.

The 24-year-old actress made an unwritten tribute to legendary designer Oscar de la Renta, who died at age 82 on Monday, as she stunned in one of his creations -- a white long-sleeved dress with a black belt. She rocked a red lip, Christian Louboutin shoes and kept her cropped cut in natural waves.

Kate Middleton Makes First Appearance Since Announcing Her Second Pregnancy

Kate Middleton Makes First Appearance Since Announcing Her Second Pregnancy: It happened! It finally happened!

We've been waiting for a glimpse of Kate Middleton ever since the palace confirmed her pregnancy back in September. But with reports that she has suffered with prolonged Hyperemesis Gravidarum, something she also had during her pregnancy with Prince George, she has since been unable to attend public events. Now, it seems that she is finally feeling well enough to make her debut.

Dressed in an Alexander McQueen coat, Jenny Packham clutch and Jane Taylor hat, the duchess joined Prince William in greeting the President of the Republic of Singapore and his wife to London.

It was recently announced that Kate and William's second child is due in April, meaning she is now somewhere around the three-to-four month mark. Needless to say, she looks absolutely radiant.

A famed outfit repeater, we were excited to see that duchess opted for something new this time around. Although it's no real surprise she chose McQueen for her first appearance since announcing her second pregnancy. After all, she is a pretty devoted fan.

Kerry Washington Says Her 'Scandal' Sex Scenes Are 'Hard To Do'

Kerry Washington Says Her 'Scandal' Sex Scenes Are 'Hard To Do': By watching "Scandal," you'd never guess that Kerry Washington feels uncomfortable acting out her passionate affair with co-star Tony Goldwyn. But as cover star of Allure magazine's November issue, the actress says those steamy scenes aren't as natural as they look.

"They're hard to do. Sex scenes are always awkward," Washington told Allure.

"You're doing things that you're supposed to do with only certain people in your life. Because this is not your real partner in life, doing that is awkward. And then doing it in a room full of people is awkward,” Washington said.

The 37-year-old, who married NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha in 2013, told Allure that she only comments on her chemistry with Goldwyn when it's in the "Scandal" script, out of respect for his longtime wife, Jane Musky.

"Particularly with a show like ours, where people are so invested in the chemistry, you just learn to be careful, because people's real relationships in life are important. I so respect and admire his wife and him and their family, and he feels the same way about mine. And so you learn to be careful about how you say things," said Washington.

This isn't the first time a "Scandal" star has confessed that the show's sex scenes can get awkward. Scott Foley told HuffPostLive in April that shooting intimate scenes with Washington, who was pregnant at the time, was a "challenge:"

"It's hard to enjoy those scenes," Foley said. "There's the guy fixing her bra, or my hair so it's awkward to begin with, but when you throw in a belly on top of that, or underneath it depending on the position we're in, it makes it even more so."

Pregnant Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Are Picture-Perfect On The Red Carpet

Pregnant Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Are Picture-Perfect On The Red Carpet: When Blake Lively made her first red carpet appearance, following her pregnancy news, at the Golden Heart Awards on Oct. 16, we didn't think she could possibly look any more lovely. But Lively outdid herself again in a form-fitting, low-cut yellow Gucci dress as she and Ryan Reynolds arrived at Gabrielle's Angel Ball in New York on Monday.

All eyes were on Lively, including her husband's:

Other celebrities in attendance at the Gabrielle's Angel Foundation event included Kris Jenner, Hota Kotd, LaLa Anthony and Gigi Hadid. The annual charity ball honors those who have made significant contributions to fund cancer research.

If Lively and Reynolds are already this adorable on the red carpet together, we can't imagine how cute their future family photos will be.

Oscar De La Renta's Wedding Dress Legacy Will Never Be Forgotten

Oscar De La Renta's Wedding Dress Legacy Will Never Be Forgotten: "In the same manner that she fell in love with that man, I hope she's going to fall in love with that dress," Oscar de la Renta told Vogue during a fitting with Kate Bosworth for her 2013 wedding to Michael Polish.

That's what de la Renta did for brides -- he made them fall in love all over again. The Dominican-born designer died on Monday at the age of 82, leaving an indelible mark on bridal wear.

De la Renta designed wedding gowns with the same sense of glamour and sophistication that he brought with him throughout his career, from his early days alongside couturier Cristóbal Balenciaga to his tenure as the head of his eponymous ready-to-wear line. For de la Renta, experimentations in bridal design were subtle and always tasteful. A touch of color here; an unexpected hemline there.

Up until his final bridal collection, which was shown to a select group of industry insiders last week, de la Renta was considered "the man of the hour" in a design realm where elegance trumps all. He was the designer for brides looking for the wedding gown of their fantasies, including Jenna Bush Hager, Katherine Heigl, Huma Abedin and, most recently, Amal Clooney, for whom he created a lace and tulle off-the-shoulder confection with a train that was almost too heavy for her flower girl to carry.

To honor the late de la Renta's achievements in the bridal world, we've gathered some of his most stunning wedding gowns from over the years. Perhaps you'll fall in love again, too.

Cara Delevingne Has Reportedly Recorded Her Debut Single with Pharrell Williams!

Cara Delevingne Has Reportedly Recorded Her Debut Single with Pharrell Williams!:

He's an international hit-maker, she's an international supermodel, so it seems only fitting that Pharrell Williams and Cara Delevingne have gotten together - musically, that is.

This weekend it was reported that the multi-hyphenate model has secretly been working on her musical debut alongside Williams for the past eight months on what will be her formal introduction into the music biz. And if the reports are to be believed, then it sounds like the pair could be gearing up for a major Beyonce-style moment!

"They're going to release the song without warning, complete with video and global launch," said a source close to the project [via Daily Mail]. "They seem to have formed a great little writing collective and apparently it's a huge song."

Rumor has it they've even recorded a video for the unreleased single in Paris, where Cara joined Williams onstage during his performance of "Happy" on Thursday night. She also recently posted an Instagram photo of her wearing a tee from the producer's 'i am OTHER' label.

Of course, this isn't the first time the two have hinted at a possible collaboration. At the Brit Awards in February, the hat-loving singer shared some flattering words about the 22-year-old model saying: "I think what people should probably focus in on, versus these specific projects, is on her [Cara], her spirit. And what she's up to next. Trust me. Because the films only get better, the parts only get bigger, the music only gets better, the modeling only gets better. But the spirit is becoming refined. She's becoming refined, so it's another chapter in her life."

Suffice it to say, should these rumors prove true, this is likely to be Cara's greatest collaboration to date and we for one can't wait to see what these two trend-setting personalities have in store for us!

I Was Told To Lose Weight, And I Said 'Thank You'

I Was Told To Lose Weight, And I Said 'Thank You': For the vast majority of my life, I thought very little about my weight. Amid insecurities about my pigeon-toed gait, room-dominating volume and geeky love for homework, my body type was a constant point of confidence throughout the notoriously-insecure preteen and teen years. Naturally small and with the metabolism only possible under the age of 30, I had the unique ability to eat virtually whatever I wanted (read: a LOT of carbs) without gaining much of anything.

But at some point during my sophomore year of college, I began feeling like I was carrying around a little extra weight -- maybe 5 to 10 pounds, the exact amount unknown due to the fact that I had never owned a scale. I took up some yoga classes, cut back on the chocolate, and called it a day. It was on my way to one of these yoga classes that I ran into guy, a year older than me, who I considered to be a good friend. It was an unremarkable and unmemorable run-in -- typical small talk including parting words that I would see him a few nights later, at a fraternity event I would be attending.

The fraternity event in question was one I was particularly proud to be invited to -- a semi-exclusive dinner held for the best friends and girlfriends of the fraternity. I threw on one of my favorite dresses, spent an hour or so taming my wildly curly hair, and was looking forward to a night of the type of debauchery that (thankfully) only happens in college. And largely, that was exactly how the night proceeded.

It wasn't until a few hours in, where our inhibitions were all a bit dissolved by cheap vodka and loud music, that the same guy friend asked me how many days I was attending yoga classes. Thinking it a harmless question, I told him two. To which he responded a string of words that, unfortunately, I think I will remember for the rest of my life:

"Do you think you could maybe make that a few more? I just know what you looked like freshman year -- I mean, if you still looked like that you could have any guy you want. Coming from a friend, ya know."

It stung as badly as the cheap vodka did, and made me feel even more likely to vomit. Stunned by the comment and not wanting to make a scene, I responded in a way that I still cannot believe: I nodded and agreed, and then I said thank you.

I thanked someone for telling me, in the least-subtle-way-possible, that I had gained weight. And that this weight gain had made me significantly less attractive. And that the reason I wasn't already married to Channing Tatum was because I had let myself go over the past year. I thanked this douchebag, and then I retreated into a bathroom stall and cried. I cried the next morning, and standing in front of the mirror the next few days, and to this day whenever I tell the story. I cried because I live in a society where men think it's okay to tell a girl these things, and that the girl would respond by thanking him.

I'm lucky that the bit of confidence I had left, a severe love of food, and a kick-ass group of girlfriends helped me avoid letting this incidence trigger an eating disorder, or worse. I didn't instantly drop the extra weight, or start going to yoga classes more than twice a week, or suddenly throw up after all my meals. But, as much as I tried not to, I did let it affect the way I thought of myself, and the way I presented myself to others.

It's enough to have to look at magazines, TV shows and movies portraying women that look nothing like 99 percent of us, but having real-life people tell us that we're inadequate? At some point we're going to start believing it, and that's not true -- we are not inadequate, we are human. And that's okay.

For any other girl (or guy, for that matter) who's been made to feel they're inadequate, I hope this can serve as a reminder that you are not. You are beautiful. You are special. You are human. And you do not have to do exercise, or look a certain way, to be these things. And you certainly, should not thank anyone for making you feel differently.

This Could Be Our Favorite Best-Dressed List Of The Year

This Could Be Our Favorite Best-Dressed List Of The Year: In case you didn't get the memo, this fall is all about white. While light colors are traditionally worn in the warmer months, it's nice to see them in the fall amongst all the burgundy and navy.

This week, most of Hollywood donned varying shades of the white. Lily Collins was a showstopper in a crop top and wide-leg pants (and in another look!), Blake Lively wowed in a cream gown and Michelle Monaghan accented her off-white dress with a little fringe. We may be getting ahead of ourselves, but this could be our most favorite best-dressed list of the year.

Lily Collins in Pamella Roland

lily white

Just stop. This look is incredible. Not only is the two-piece outfit balanced out perfectly (her high-waisted, wide-leg trousers are a nice contrast to her strapless crop top), but her bold brows, deep red lipstick and short 'do seal the deal.

Blake Lively in Gucci

If you ever doubted whether the maternity glow is a real -- here's your proof. Not only is Lively radiant on the red carpet, but her skin-tight dress is such a nice departure from the oversized, boxy dresses we normally see during pregnancy.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw in Calvin Klein

Nobody does minimalism as well as Calvin Klein. Though the British actress' dress is rather simple, the expert tailoring, dainty accessories and pared back hair and makeup make for a sophisticated and elegant look.

Michelle Monaghan in Altuzarra

This outfit is business in the front and party in the back -- and that's why we love it. While it may appear to be a plain halter dress, the fringe detail is what makes this look so exciting. And those shoes! The laser cut-outs add just the right amount of visual interest.

January Jones

White and nude is one of our favorite color combinations -- it looks so fresh and clean. Jones' skirt and top fit her like a glove and the little details (like the three quarter sleeves and peplum skirt) ensure that this outfit is fashion-forward and modern.

Lily Collins in Elie Saab Couture

lily purple

This ombre gown is taking our breath away. The structured strapless top is complemented by the long, flowy skirt and makes it look like she is floating along. We also love how her belt creates a cinched-in waist and draws attention to her narrow part. A+, Collins.
