Back in November, Kendall Jenner made headlines for landing a contract with Estée Lauder, a key play in the company's ongoing push to grab the attention of younger shoppers. We know you were positively on the edge of your seat in anticipation of Jenner's work for the brand, so we're pleased to report that it's here! Her first ad!
The product at hand is Estée Lauder's new Little Black Primer, a lash coat that you can use alone as a tint, under mascara as a primer or over mascara as a topcoat. How good or necessary it is, we have no idea.
As for the accompanying video, Jenner does a nice job blinking and swiveling her eyeballs to the beat of a dramatic club soundtrack. She probably didn't have to do the pursed-lips "shhhhhh" pose. There's some light runway walking in a tank top and leather pants, and she's only a touch awkward about it.
The ad certainly has a youthful feel, so mission accomplished on that front. Now let's watch Jenner really sell it on her social channels.
