Gucci Westman has become known for creating memorable (and trendsetting) beauty looks during Fashion Week at shows like Rag & Bone, Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta and more in her role as the global artistic director of Revlon, which she plans to exit on April 15.

First reported by WWD (and confirmed to Fashionista) this news marks a major turning point for Revlon, as Westman's high-fashion relationships were instrumental in helping the mass-market cosmetics company stay relevant among luxe competitors like Nars and MAC, which sponsor Fashion Week shows, as well. Since she joined in 2008, Westman has also been involved in Revlon's seasonal color stories and the brand's product innovation.

So far, there's no word on the makeup artist's next steps or whether she'll be replaced, but we expect to see her making the backstage rounds again come September.
