Lucky magazine has tapped Puerto Rican stunner Joan Smalls for its May cover. In the accompanying interview, the top model talks about personal style, her collaboration with True Religion and Beyoncé, of course. {Lucky}

Elsewhere at Condé Nast, Teen Vogue is making history by putting out the publishing house's first explicitly advertiser-sponsored cover with Tresemmé. The false cover, which appears on the magazine's May issue (otherwise covered by Kylie Jenner), comes hand in hand with sponsored posts on Teen Vogue's website and video tutorials. {Adweek}

Colette, the upscale Parisian boutique, is debuting a collab with... McDonald's. The line, hopefully not to be confused with Jeremy Scott's debut collection for Moschino, features shirts, phone cases and totes with names like "Big Mac Sac." It will be available in limited run starting May 4. {Fashionista inbox}

Two U.S. senators introduced legislation that would require the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to investigate at least five ingredients used in cosmetics and personal care products each year. Companies on board thus far: Johnson & Johnson, Revlon and Proctor & Gamble. {Associated Press via Yahoo! Style)

Marchesa has partnered with St. Regis Hotels & Resorts for a couture bridal capsule collection inspired by the chain's resort destinations in Punta Mita, Dubai, Mumbai and New York. The dresses, which will be available for purchase here in September, will range from $20,000 to $50,000. {Fashionista inbox}
