What Your Favorite Met Gala Stars Are Wearing Ahead of the Red Carpet

What Your Favorite Met Gala Stars Are Wearing Ahead of the Red Carpet:

In a matter of hours, New York’s Upper East Side will come to a standstill — with help from President Obama’s dual presence — as Hollywood A-listers and the industry’s leading fashion fixtures join forces to celebrate the opening of the latest exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute, “China: Through the Looking Glass.” We’ve already gotten a sneak peek of who we can expect to see walk the red carpet this evening. And, as exacted as we are to see our favorite models dressed to the nines in their designer wares, we thought we’d gear up for the red carpet festivities by highlighting some of the catwalkers in their more accessible, albeit no less stylish, pre-Met off-duty looks.  Think of these chic, low-key ensembles as the calm before the storm and inspiration for the weekend ahead.  Keep scrolling for a look at how your favorite models keeping stylish ahead of the Met Gala.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked fierce in leopard print, chain-embellished booties and a leather biker jacket while arriving to John F. Kennedy on Saturday.

Behati Prinsloo displayed her runway-ready figure in a Calvin Klein Jeans crop top, destroyed jeans and Alexander Wang creepers while arriving to the city this weekend. The Victoria’s Secret Angel will wear Tommy Hilfiger on the red carpet tonight.

She may be in the midst of a serious hair and makeup session, but Karlie Kloss proved she’s a natural beauty at heart when she stepped out in wet hair and a breezy, spring-ready dress on Sunday.

Karolina Kurkova is known for her bold, iconic Met Gala looks, but on Sunday the supermodel kept things casual, opting for a classic white button-down blouse, a chic architectural wrap skirt and Converse sneakers.

She’s the face of Calvin Klein Jeans, so it makes sense that for her grand arrival Kendall Jenner covered up in head-to-toe denim — and a Yankees hat!

She’ll be rocking custom-made Burberry Prorsum on the red carpet tonight, but over the weekend Naomi Campbell went for a refined denim look paired by studded Valentino sandals.

We’re not sure what Poppy Delevingne will be wearing on the red carpet tonight, but we do know that she looked completely on point while celebrating her 29th birthday in a low-key denim jacket, a stripped crop top and matching shorts, and classic Chucks.
