The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show After-Party Looks Were Short And Sheer, as Usual

After the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show comes the second fashion show, but after the second fashion show comes the after-party. On Tuesday night in New York City, the Victoria's Secret model cast descended upon the pink carpet to celebrate a long day of primping and runway walking — and, of course, to show off their sexy takes on eveningwear. After past years full of risky cutouts and sheer fabrics, we've come to expect a certain level of nakedness when it comes to this particular soirée. This time around, however, many models eschewed barely-there mini's for glamorous long sleeve gowns, sleek pantsuits and fringed frocks — the kind of styles that less genetically blessed mortals could pull off wearing. But don't worry, Victoria's Secret fans: many models still opted for looks that left very little to the imagination.

We've broken down our favorite pink carpet fashion trends below, from sparkly mini dresses to a certain Mugler style that two girls wore (gasp!), followed a slideshow of every single look.

Thigh-High Slits

Izabel Goulart, Kendall Jenner and Alessandra Ambrosio put their best Angelina Jolie legs forward in elegant floor-length dresses with very high slits. Goulart's look had a Grecian vibe, while Kendall's was more Old Hollywood glamour. And if Ambrosio's dress seems more conservative than her usual tastes, it's because she changed later into a leather cutout mini.

Sparkly Mini Dresses

You can always count on the pink carpet for embellished mini-dresses, and this year, Flavia Lucini, Jasmine Tookes and Behati Prinsloo each put their own spin on the style. Newbie Lucini kept things more conservative in a striped long-sleeve frock, while Tookes and Prinsloo's dresses featured sheer fabrics covered in appliqués and lace.

Grid/Net Accents

Victoria's Secret models often opt for netting or grid accents as an alternative to sheer fabrics. Devon Windsor daringly revealed her hips through an open corset-like dress, and Jablonski's Sophie Theallet dress featured a long outer mesh layer. Lambert's otherwise simple dress sported a netting along the upper waist and bust.

Slash-Like Cutouts

Surprisingly, both Selena Gomez and Martha Hunt wore very similar versions of a Mugler dress that featured thin slash-like cutouts around the chest, waist and hips.

Most Naked

When it comes to body-revealing looks, these three models take the cake. Lily Donaldson's look is basically lingerie with some ruffles around the hips, Lais Ribeiro's nipples are visible through her body sock and Gigi Hadid got creative with her look — repurposing a Sally LaPointe double slit bustier top as a skirt over a House of CB cut out bodysuit, affordably priced at $91. Points for courage all around, ladies
