SMOKING HOT: Candice reveals the fitness secrets behind THAT body

With her sky-high pins, washboard abs and toned arms, Candice Swanepoel probably has one of the most envied bodies in the world.

And she's set to show off the labours of her work by strutting her stuff on the Victoria's Secret Runway tonight.

In the run-up to the main event, the hot 27-year-old has revealed some of her fitness secrets.

The South African beauty seems to like variety when it comes to stating in shape and has been using a combination of ariel yoga and ballet to stay toned.

The Biotherm ambassador captioned an image of herself gracefully balancing in the air on the silk support on Saturday, '@biothermworld got me #traininglikeanangel #vsfashionshow2015 @jeromeduran'.

Donning skin-tight leggings and a skimpy sports bra, the underwear models flaunted her impressive physique as she hung from the white silk.

In one shot she has her leg kicked up while delicately extending her arm in front of her face.

While another image sees her fearlessly hanging upside down with her legs extended out.

Last year, the catwalk goddess sculpted her figure using toning ballet moves. The blonde bombshell launched a video of her training on the Victoria's Secret YouTube channel.

In the clip you can see her being taken through her paces by Mary Helen Bowers who shows her some top stomach-toning, butt-enhancing and core-strengthening exercises.

Looking tanned and without an ounce of fat in a cropped yellow workout bra, patterned leggings and black ballet shoes, Candice is led through a series of movements using ballet arm positions to achieve a lean dancers body.

The seemly gentile workout includes toning leg extensions which involve lifting one leg behind and the opposite arm out in front in a balance that engages the core as well as the limbs.

It also features plies with 'swan arms', which is designed to tone the arms, butt and stomach. And the workout finishes with some more energetic leaps to get the heart rate up.

"With ballet you have to control all the way until your finger tips," said Candice. "It doesn't look like it but you use a lot of muscle controlling."

The Amazonian stunner recently opened up about how she achieves and maintains her incredible figure, admitting she’s been blessed with a fast metabolism but still strives to eat well and work out.



"Food-wise, I'm very, very lucky that I can eat whatever I want. For me, I've always had a healthy lifestyle. If I eat something that’s not fresh, I feel it immediately, so I crave good food," she told OK! Magazine.

"I crave meat. I grew up on a dairy and beef farm, so I crave that. I don’t cut anything out, and I just work out more," she explained.

This year's Victoria's Secret show is returning tonight to its native New York and will feature the brand's ten new Victoria's Secret Angels - as well-seasoned veterans such as Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and of course Candice.

Kendall Jenner will ale be making her debut on the underwear brand's catwalk. The VS show is known for being one of the sexiest events of the year and features million-dollar jewelled bras and exquisite lingerie.
