King of Pop MICHAEL JACKSON has gone forever in June 25, 2009 but yet his spirit carries on and transcend in various ways. One takes shape of a perfume. Well, MJ the pre-eminent endorser of Fedora hat has made his resurrection as a perfume company based on Beverly Hills – California, MY DNA FRAGRANCE launches a new line of fragrance called “M”, engineered from Michael Jackson’s DNA Genetic Codes.
The ‘Michael Jackson’s Perfume’ is made of the lightest but most volatile essence. It is claimed to be a one-of-a-kind fragrance that will leave a fragrant imprint of Michael Jackson. Much like the legend himself, this cologne is unique, indescribable, and like no other cologne in the world.

‘M’ by My DNA Fragrance, made based on Michael Jackson’s DNA genetic code
M’ is part of the ANTIQUITY COLLECTION, a line of exclusive fragrance manufactured based on the DNA Genetic Code of celebrities taken from their hair. Where did the company get the hair from?
Since three years ago, My DNA Fragrance has collaborated with John Reznikoff, founder and President of University Archives and the world’s finest historical hair collector. Reiznikoff private collections include celebrity’s hair from the 16th century to present, such as Henry IV, Jefferson Davis, Beethoven, Edgar Allan Poe, Albert Einstein, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Katharine Hepburn.

As said on the manufacturer’s official website:
“My DNA Fragrance has analyzed  Rezinkoff’s private collection of celebrity hair and is now engineering exclusive fragrances of each celebrity.”
Each celebrity’s hair shafts, with or without the follicle in tact, was extracted using Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) process. So far My DNA Fragrance has produced five other series of Antiquity line besides the “M”; they are: “iQ” for Albert Einstein’s scent, “Entrance” for Joan Crawford, “Blue Suede” for the scent of Elvis Presley, “Monarch” for the Katharine Hepburn, and “Marylin” for the American actress Marylin Monroe.

The chairman of My DNA Fragrance, CARLTON ENOCH told The Sun:
“We use the genetic code to formulate the fragrance. If you are putting on MJ’s perfume it’s a unique fragrance to him. The biggest seller is Elvis, but MJ is selling very well too. It’s a powerful fragrance and there is no alcohol in it. We use aloe vera so it doesn’t evaporate into the air. It lasts the entire day and it’s good for the skin.”
Antiquity Perfume comes in an aluminum bottle as the manufacturer considered the material’s ability in protecting fragrance against the sunlight. Each bottle goes together with a Registered Certificate of Authenticity. The fragrance is environmentally friendly as it does not contain alcohol and has healing properties for the skin.
3 oz. of Antiquity Men’s Cologne is sold US $59.99, available in select stores in early 2010. A portion of the gross profits will be donated to the estates of these celebrities and many of the charities that they supported. For those that did not support a charity, My DNA Fragrance will donate to a charity on their behalf.
More Antiquity series will come soon. With regard to the fact that President Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Theodore Roosevelt, Ulysses Grant, Abraham Lincoln, John Adams and George Washington are on the list, apparently My DNA Fragrance is also eyeing President Obama’s DNA to get it transformed in the near future. Of course they don’t need to wait for the late president for doing it as the company also produced men’s cologne with fragrant imprint of the living human being. They customize the individualized scent for not only celebrities but also everyone who desire it.
Carlton Enoch said, “We had the actor Samuel L. Jackson call up to get his own perfume made – it’s so unique and special that he wanted it.”
