A short film based on the “Tangled” characters is set to arrive on the Disney Channel in 2012. The TV movie will come from the directors of Walt Disney Pictures “Tangled,” Nathan Greno and Byron Howard. We are unsure what the plot for the movie will be like, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out!

ABC has just purchased a new show called “Gilded Lillys.” The series is a one-hour drama that comes from Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Betsy Beers. The show will be written by KJ Steinberg, who also writes for “Gossip Girl.”
“Gilded Lillys” is a show about the first luxury hotel built in New York City back in 1895. The show will document the family who owns the hotel, those who work there and the hotel guests.

From now until September 15th Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre is presenting Disney’s “Beauty and the Best” in 3D! In addition, there is a live appearance by “Beauty and the Beast” character Belle at each performance!

Actor Alan Dale, who played Charles Widmore on ABC’s “LOST,” will guest star on ABC’s new show “Once Upon A Time.” You might also recognize Alan from “The O.C.” or a number of other movies and TV shows!
It’s no wonder that Alan has been asked to play a role in this new show since it is executive produced by LOST’s Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis! Alan will play the father of the Prince Charming character on “Once Upon A Time.”
We can’t wait for the premiere of the show on October 23rd at 8/7c.

Miley Cyrus’ boyfriend Liam Hemsworth is playing the character Gale Hawthorne in the upcoming movie version of the novel “The Hunger Games.” In an interview with V Man magazine Liam revealed that he is similar to Gale!
He is extremely passionate about standing up for what he believes in, which has always been a strong part of my life. Because of the consequences of standing up to an evil government, he has to bite his lip and live with it. I’ve definitely had times in my life where I’ve had to hold back what I really want to say or do.
“The Hunger Games” will arrive in theaters on March 23, 2012.

Disney has released new SpiritHoods designed with The Muppets in mind. The new collection will be available this Fall for a limited time and will hopefully help to promote Walt Disney Pictures movie “The Muppets,” arriving in theaters on November 23rd. The reason we wonder if Vanessa Hudgens will wear the new SpiritHoods is because we know she is a fan of the products, wearing a fox SpiritHood in the past. We haven’t seen many other celebrities take to the trend, so we think she would be a great star to have supporting the new products.

Rumor has it that Disney is gearing up to create an Epic Mickey sequel video game. The game would arrive for the following gaming consoles:

Epic Mickey 2 would include split-screen game play for two players. One player would be in charge of controlling Mickey Mouse while the other player would be controlling the character Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

Nick Jonas was photographed out in Los Angeles, California on September 2nd. Nick has been spending a lot of time hanging out with his girlfriend Delta Goodrem, so it’s been rare to see a picture of him alone! Nick doesn’t look upset that the paparazzi are snapping pictures of him, which is a good thing!

Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, who dated Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens respectively, are in a new movie based on the novel “The Hunger Games,” which is set to arrive in March 2012. A new website has been created to promote the movie – be sure to check it out at www.thecapitol.pn. (Fans of the book will recognize that .pn stands for Panem, the world the book takes place in).
With the movie so far away we can be sure that this is just the first bit of a viral marketing campaign for the movie. We’ll keep you posted when more news from “The Hunger Games” arrives.

A false copyright claim was filed to VEVO on Justin Bieber’s channel recently and VEVO ended up removing all of Justin’s videos from the site. VEVO spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the incident, stating:
A few videos by Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga were briefly taken down by YouTube as a result of false copyright claims. This issue has been resolved.
When the issue was finally resolved and all of Justin’s videos were restored to the site VEVO Tweeted the following message to Justin’s fans:
Ok, Beliebers…looks like everything is coming back up Thanks for your patience! Down with the hackers! youtube.com/justinbiebervevo.

“Iron Man” actor Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, producer Susan, are expecting their first child together. The due date is in February and Robert revealed that he is hoping for a girl so that another boy doesn’t compete with his 17-year-old son Indio with his ex-wife Deborah Falconer, but only time will tell if Robert and Susan have a boy or a girl!

Last month actor Brad Garrett visited the Disneyland Resort where he revealed that he is working on a new Disney project – “Planes” for DisneyToon Studios. The movie is inspired by the Disney/Pixar movie “Cars” and its sequel “Cars 2.” The movie “Planes” will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD in the Spring of 2013!

Party bus driver Heather Bormann has filed assault charges against “LOST” star Matthew Fox for allegedly punching her last weekend. Prosecutors are currently reviewing the case, in which Matthew exited a bar and tried to get on a party bus that he wasn’t a passenger on. When the bus driver tried to stop Matthew from entering the bus he started to physically fight with her.
