Jennifer Lopez is rocking the entertainment world these days! Jennifer Lynn Muñiz, now known as J. Lo, was born in 1969, to Puerto Rican parents, in the Bronx, New York City. J. Lo first gained attention with her role as a fly girl dancer on the Fox hit series In Living Color. Her breakthrough acting role, was in the biopic movie Selena. Following the release of Selena, her acting career took off with several more movie offers, and she also released her first album. She became the first actress and singer to have a movie, The Wedding Planner, and and album, J. Lo, make it to No.1 in the same week. From there, she has gone on to become not just an actress and singer, but a designer, producer, and an extremely successful business woman. She has become on of the most powerful and influential celebrities in the world. She's used her influential pop icon status to build a successful empire with clothing lines, accessories, fragrances, and a production company. Lopez is one of the wealthiest Hispanics in the US with a net worth of approximately 300 million dollars. She's currently a judge on the Fox hit American Idol, and just released her new album AKA. As of 2014, J. Lo has sold over 80 million records worldwide as of 2014. She also earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her musical contribution. Her biggest success was the birth of her twins Maximilian and Emme in 2008, with former husband Marc Anthony. J. Lo just seems to get better with age...she's turning 45 in July, and looks absolutely amazing! She is hotter than ever! Way to go Jenny from the block! |
