Indie magazine No Tofu may not be the most recognizable title on the newsstand, but it's managed to grab our attention on a number of occasions by scoring top models and oft-controversial personalities for its covers. In the past, it's featured a cutesy, made-under Pamela Anderson, Rose McGowan and Helena Christensen — all women who never fail to pique people's interest despite having, perhaps, passed their heyday. The same can be said about the glossy's latest cover star, the troubled actress-turned-fashion designer/blogger (we use those terms loosely) Lindsay Lohan, who's featured in an editorial shot by Ellen von Unwerth.

While Lohan's been busy with a few projects — most recently a clothing line with British brand Lavish Alice and carefully documenting all of her outfits on Instagram — she's been out of the modeling game for quite a while, and the No Tofu shoot marks her first U.S. editorial in over a year. (The last time we remember seeing her on a noteworthy cover was back in 2014 for Wonderland magazine.) Von Unwerth spent a week with Lohan (whom she's shot before for Vogue Italia and German GQ) on the super-trendy Greek island of Mykonos over the summer, resulting in a shoot that's heavy on the swimwear, sky-high heels and Lohan's specialty: sexy, come-hither pouts.

Considering Lohan's tumultuous relationship with the fashion industry (remember the Ungaro days? And her leggings line 6126?), and most industries, we suggest you savor this editorial — there's no telling how long it will be before she reemerges for a high-gloss shoot again.
