Charlize Theron shows she is no pushover in handling son's tantrum

Charlize Theron shows she is no pushover in handling son's tantrum: Charlize Theron showed that she is no pushover when it comes to disciplining her child Jackson during a recent incident on a picnic which only because she is a celebrity brought her attention but it also may have made her more popular with fans and mothers worldwide.

What parent does not know the 'joy' of their young child who may be under the age of 5 years old throwing a temper tantrum in a public place and drawing the attention of 'concerned' onlookers? For many parents it is almost a rite of passage for their child to attempt to embarrass them in public and then when the child is given a 'timeout' the child then takes that opportunity to become even louder. Some parents 'fold' under the pressure and pick up the child but others stay 'strong' because they understand that if the child thinks they can get away with it once it will become the norm.

The beautiful Academy Award winning actress was with son Jackson and partner Sean Penn on a picnic when she had to put her 2 year old on a 'timeout'. However, things became a little bit 'interesting' after someone walking by heard the wailing of Jackson and approached him but Charlize Theron asked her to stay away because her son was on a timeout. The lady called the police and they came, visited and left after talking to 'Mom' and realized that the child was fine but just on a timeout.

Charlize Theron, who just finished filming the movie "The Last Face" with Sean Penn in South Africa is used to media attention for her projects but she probably never anticipated receiving attention for having to do what almost every parent in the world has been forced to do at some time but she handled it like she acts in her movie roles: fabulously.

Welcome to the 'parent' club Charlize Theron. I'm loving your work both on screen and off as are many of your fans and from one parent to another, "stay strong and keep doing what you are doing".
