Kendall Jenner Gushes About “Amazingly Crazy” Friend Cara Delevingne

Kendall Jenner Gushes About “Amazingly Crazy” Friend Cara Delevingne:

Looks like Anna Ewers isn’t the only model getting the Harper’s Bazaar cover treatment this month.

On Thursday, the American glossy revealed a second cover (exclusively for its subscribers) starring model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner.  Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, the 19-year-old model graces the yet-to-be-released May issue dressed in a dreamy floral embellished gown and hat from Chanel’s spring haute couture collection— not too shabby for a model who made her modeling debut just a little over a year ago.

Inside the issue— in which she has an impressive 10-page spread we should add— Kendall opens up about her big sis’ Kim Kardashian saying, “I really admire Kim’s style.  I think she could be a major fashion icon. It’s so fun to be in Paris with her, but I’ll walk out and be like, “Oh, my God, I love my outfit,” and then I’ll see Kim and I’ll be like, “My outfit sucks compared to yours!”‘

A bold statement considering that the runway favorite admits to having something of a shopping addiction— at least when it comes to shoes.  ”I’m too embarrassed to say, ” she says when asked how many pairs of shoes she owns.  ”I have a problem—I need to go to rehab for shoe addiction. The last pair I bought was some Giuseppe Zanottis, thigh-high.”

Kim aside, Kendall also dishes on some of the other  important women in her life: her model BFFs.  ”I think it’s super important,” she says about making friends in the industry.  ”You have to be around these girls for work, for parties, for events, for shows, especially. It’s good to have a set of girlfriends that you can stand being around. You have to be around these people all the time!” Among her closest friends these days are Gigi Hadid, Hailey Baldwin and Cara Delevingne, who she describes as “amazingly crazy.  We balance each other out.  I chill her out and she makes me fun.”

Still, for all of her celebrity, Kendall admits she’s still very shy when first meeting someone— especially if that someone is Karl Lagerfeld.  Though the two are now close friends— Kendall has walked in several of his shows now, while the designer has publicly deemed her “the girl of the moment” — the model recounts her awkward first encounter with the Kaiser saying, “He would say something to me and I would just nod. It was like meeting a crush or something — I was mute. He probably thought I was the biggest weirdo. And then every time we’d see each other, it would just get better and better. Now we’re totally BFFs.”
