Alongside the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, the Duchess stopped by BAFTA on Monday for the premiere of a new British animated film called "Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer's Llamas." The showing was part of an event organized by The Charities Forum, which was founded in 2006 by the Duke, Duchess and Prince Harry as a means to bring different charity organizations together. (Currently, there are more than 30 organizations involved in the group.) As for the movie, the plot revolves around Shaun, who convinces his owner to buy three mischievous llamas.
But enough about the llamas. The Duchess chose an A-line, 3/4 length sleeve printed "Meg - Space" dress by British designer Tabitha Webb for the event, an appropriate choice. The dress, which costs £312.50 (about $480), is currently available in sizes 8, 10, 12 and 14 on the designer's website.
Both Kate and Pippa Middleton have worn designs by the British designer before. Earlier this year, Webb collaborated with the younger Middleton on a two-piece limited edition dress and scarf for the British Heart Foundation, which she wore to attend a tennis match at The Queen's Club in London. As for the Duchess, she was spotted in a floral frock from Project D London, a now-defunct label created by Webb and Dannii Minogue, back in 2012. So while the Duchess's choice to wear Webb is not at all surprising, what is perhaps surprising is Middleton's inexhaustible ability to transform a seemingly fun dress into yet another one of her classic choices.
