Summer may be winding down but Victoria’s Secret and CBS will keep temperatures rising with the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, scheduled to air on Tuesday, November 30 at 10/9C.Starting today, Victoria’s Secret is counting down to the sexiest night on television and offering 10 chances to win along the way, including a shot at the ultimate prize—Lingerie for Life! Entrants can boost their VS Fashion Show IQ with 10 unique tasks and trivia challenges now through
December 1.
Over 100 winners will receive glam goodies, like a US $50 Victoria’s Secret Gift Card, a signed Angel photo or autographed Katy Perry CD, or a bundle of Fashion Show essentials. Katy Perry -- Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Katy Perry will be making her first appearance on the Victoria’s Secret runway this year— performing her new single, “Firework”! The two-time Grammy nominee strikes a sexy balance between singer and style icon, girl-next-door and glamorous globetrotter, fun and fantasy. Her first album, One of the Boys, sold 5 million worldwide, and featured four hit singles: “I Kissed A Girl”, “Hot N Cold”, “Thinking Of You”, and “Waking Up In Vegas”. Her follow-up,”Teenage Dream” debuted in August at number one on the Billboard 200 and has already yielded two #1 singles, “California Gurls” and title-track “Teenage Dream”. According to Perry, “I called the album ‘Teenage Dream’ because I feel like I will always want to be that pin-up poster.”
Akon -- Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
With over 40 Billboard Hot 100 songs and 300 guest appearances with the industry’s biggest names under his belt, Akon makes his first appearance on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with the appropriately-titled, “Angel”— the first single off his upcoming upcoming Upfront/Konvict/SRC/Universal Motown album, Stadium. The six-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter/producer rose to prominence with the hit single “Locked Up” from his debut album, Trouble. His second album, Konvicted, earned him three Grammy Award nominations for singles “Smack That” and “I Wanna Love You”. Akon is the first solo artist to hold both the #1 and #2 spots simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 charts twice. THE VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW, taped in New York, to be broadcast Tuesday, Nov. 30 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
