Penelope Cruz Cover Is Basically A Repeat Of All Her Past Ones (But We're Not Complaining): Penelope Cruz is the star of Allure's January 2014 issue, posing for the beauty mag with a close-up on her gorgeous makeup. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury told Allure, "She has the most incredible features for makeup," and aimed to give her "iconic Dolce Vita eyes and luminous skin" for the cover shoot.

Of course, you barely have to do anything to Penelope's face to make her a cover star -- she's been here before. While we loved this new Mario Testino-shot cover, it looked a tad familiar...

But hey, we're not kvetching about it. Cruz's stunning zoomed-in shot, exposing her playful freckles and, yes, luminous skin, teaches a beauty lesson we can all take home: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
