FLORENCE–No, Emma Watson didn’t walk down the runway during new partner Alberta Ferretti‘s show last night. Instead, the Pitti guest of honor invited starlets like Camilla Belle, Georgie Henley and seasoned actresses including Marisa Berenson to model her beyond-red-carpet-worthy wear, with Italian singer Elisa performing an acoustic set. And the blogger? It turned out to be Italy’s Chiara Ferragni, also known as The Blonde Salad.
For those expecting something other than embellished dresses and ornate overcoats, there was sure to be disappointment. But who really wants newness from Ferretti? Not us. Her long lame bubble skirts, dresses trimmed in fur at the wrists and the hemline, and a felted wool princess coat with fur pleats were particularly fetching. As for the “real women” walking the runway? Belle looked stiff, Berenson emanated ease, and British socialite Poppy Delevigne appeared downright etheral. (Well, she did close the show–in a wedding dress, nonetheless.)
We could have done without a flowing teal dress, which was a mix of velvet and lace. But all in all, it was a collection for Ferretti’s most devoted client–as well as those who may prefer to look, but not touch.
Michael Jackson's children watched him die, according to a prosecution witness in the preliminary hearing for his embattled physician, Dr. Conrad Murray.
As Murray tried in vain to revive MJ after a drug overdose, his children Paris and Prince entered his bedroom, a former employee testified on Wednesday.
'Paris screamed, 'Daddy,' and she started crying,' Alberto Alvarez, a logistics director for Jackson, recalled as Katherine and Janet Jackson sat in court.
Paris, Blanket and Prince have been through a lot.
Alvarez testified in the second day of a preliminary hearing in L.A. Superior Court on an involuntary manslaughter charge against Dr. Conrad Murray.
Jackson feared being murdered, we learned yesterday, but Murray is not accused of anything like that. He didn't mean for MJ to die, but is he liable?
The judge will determine whether there's enough evidence for a trial for the 57-year-old doctor, and it's all but a formality that Murray will stand trial.
According to Alvarez, when MJ's children appeared that day, Murray shouted, "Get them out! Get them out! Don’t let them see their father like this."
At the time, Paris was 11 years old and Prince was 12.
Jackson was on his back, his eyes and mouth open, as Murray gave chest compressions and attempted mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, Alvarez says.
He was later declared dead at the hospital at age 50. It's whether Murray was responsible for his passing away that is in question here, of course.
Murray's conduct that day was suspicious, and his expected defense - that Michael killed himself - is thin. You won't hear that this week, though.
At the preliminary hearing, the defense is likely to sit and watch the prosecution outline its case, rather than try to plead its own. There's no point.
It would be a losing battle now, so they are likely to gear up for trial after seeing what the D.A. has and plans on using to convict Conrad Murray.

Another scandal has broken out around Miley Cyrus. This time, though, the controversial singer is not at the center of it.
A 21-year old named Josh Holly was arrested in Nashville last week and charged with possession of unauthorized credit card numbers. He also admitted to hacking into Miley's email account in 2007.
According court documents, FBI Agent Victor Rodriguez writes that Holly said he broke into Cyrus' MySpace account and obtained photos from her Gmail, posting them on a site frequented by other hackers.
It's unclear to which pictures of Miley this admission refers, but the most recent set of leaked images was clearly snapped a few years ago.
Rodriguez states in the affidavit that Holly told him he often hacked into the email and social networking accounts of celebrities to help with his job sending spam for commercial companies. This job paid the loser $110,000 between November 2007 and July 2008.
'He confirmed that he was the person who had obtained data from Miley Cyrus' MySpace without authorization,' Rodriguez writes. 'He often used accounts belonging to celebrities because of the high volume of Internet traffic they attracted.'
This spammer is due in court for a January 12 hearing to deal with the aforementioned credit card allegations. Authorities have not yet decided whether or not to tack on charges against him for these online hacks.

Unless this is all a negotiating ploy, which is entirely plausible, Camille Grammer will likely exit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after this season.
A day after talk about the reality star's departure first surfaced, her lawyer has officially negotiated a settlement with Bravo that will allow his client to walk away with no repercussions.
How does Kyle Richards, Grammer's top rival on the series, feel about this news? You might be surprised.
'Would I want her to be there [if there was another season]? Yes, I would,' Richards tells E! News. 'I know that we're very different and we're like oil and water together, but I can't help but think what she's going through in her personal life might have something to do with that. It'd be interesting to see what happens when things in her life have calmed down a bit and maybe we can work things out a little better.'

Take the following rumor with a grain of salt the size of Justin Bieber's fan base...
According to Great Britain's The Sun, Justin Bieber has been approached by producers to guest star on Glee and has actually accepted - under one condition.
'It must be in the agreement that [Cheryl Cole] gets a part in the show as well,' Justin allegedly told the newspaper. 'Cheryl and the show make total sense. It's all about people who look good and can sing and dance - that's totally Cheryl.'
Bieber has made no secret that he crushes on Cole, but these quotes still don't sound like him, do they?
'Glee is a great way to introduce [Cole] to the States,' he says. 'It would be great if she played a substitute teacher taking a sabbatical from England or something. Can you imagine how hot Cheryl would look dressed as a school teacher?'
Whether or not Justin is quoted correctly here, we still wanna know: Do you think he should appear on Glee?

Following the occasional rumor of the past few months, it looks like Glee producers have finally come down with a case of Bieber Fever.
Michael Ausiello, one of the most reliable sources in TV journalism, reports that the Fox smash will dedicate a full episode to Justin Bieber this February.
Despite his recent claim to be open to an appearance on the series, sources say Bieber is not currently scheduled to make a cameo.
Instead, as it has done for artists such as Britney Spears and Madonna, Glee will simply cover a number of Justin's singles on the upcoming episode. Insiders do say, however, that 'Bieber himself will figure into the plot' in some fashion.
Commence hyperventilating, Beliebers, in 3... 2... 1...
UPDATE: Perez Hilton says Glee creator Ryan Murphy has written in and said: 'Glee is NOT doing a Justin Bieber tribute episode. We are not doing any more of those this season. Those are reserved for artists with a big catalogue, ala Madonna and Britney, etc.'

But that didn't stop fans from voting her their favorite guest star for her role on Grey's Anatomy; and anointing Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam as their favorite family TV movie.
In response, on her official Facebook page, the young singer has written:
'I wish to thank all the friends and fans who voted for me for the People's Choice Awards and the Hot Hits Hottest Teen Stars of 2010.
