Some people don't quite get Russell Brand's comedy. Then, there's the Japanese.
In the country to see wife Katy Perry perform, Brand was apparently not welcomed by authorities there, Perry tweeted early Sunday morning; according to her Twitter feed, she went from elation to being there to something less than that just a few hours later.

For his part, Brand seemed to be taking the event with his trademark good humor.

According to OceanUp.com tattoo artist Fabio Satori spoke about Miley Cyrus’ brand new tattoo that she got in Brazil, saying:
It was fun, it was a surprise on Sunday. A friend of mine works in the production of Miley and called me saying that the team wanted tattoos. Later, I was told that Miley wanted one as well and because, for her, leaving the hotel is always difficult, we did it at the hotel. She wanted something to remind her of a safe place. Everyone had an idea in mind and references. She asked me something soft, I made two drawings and she chose one. Miley told her mother that she wanted something that refers to a safe port, something that reminded her she always has a safe place to return to. The significance of the design is one of hope and a reminder to always have your feet on the ground.

Walt Disney Records released the soundtrack for the new Walt Disney Pictures movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.” The soundtrack is from composer Hans Zimmer, who composed the first three “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie soundtracks. Hans worked with the guitar pair Rodrigo y Gabriela on the soundtrack as well.
The soundtrack opens with a sound distinctive of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. You automatically have a sense of excitement and you begin to look around wondering where Captain Jack Sparrow could be! Each of the songs explains through sound the scenes in the film. You can tell which scenes are sentimental, which scenes will have you on the edge of your seat with anticipation and which scenes are full of excitement. We have to admit, our favorite track is for the end credits, which is the “Pirates of the Caribbean” theme song – the song that comes to our head every time we think of the “Pirates” movies!
We also love that the album includes really fun remixed versions of some of the songs. Our favorite is definitely the remix version of “Guity of Being Innocent of Being Jack Sparrow.” The song was remixed by DJ Earworm and it made us want to get in the car this second to go see “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”

“Napoleon Dynamite” star Jon Heder is set to star in a new Disney XD pilot written by Dan Kopelman (“Malcolm In The Middle”). The show is about a character named Gulliver Quinn (Jon) who is an adult enrolled in the seveth grade after his family returns from being part of a research expedition for 15 years. That sounds like it could be really funny, especially with Jon in the leading role!
The shows pilot is set to be directed by Rob Schrab and Jon will serve as an executive producer alongside Dan Kopelman.

The 22-year-old actress endured a mass amount of overzealous guys while hanging out at the Cannes Film Festival last week, as she explained, “Towards the end, some French guys got a bit obnoxious.'
However, in spite of all the awkward advances, Vanessa says she had the time of her life in the South of France. 'We ran around and wore fabulous clothes and went to awesome parties. Every single night was so incredible, walking up the hotel and being on the boat and soaking up the sun in the Riviera!”
Hudgens, who ended her five year relationship with Zac Efron last December, also revealed her love of the single life, telling, “I’m really happy embracing this moment. Right now I feel so happy and I have so much going on, I don’t necessarily need a guy.'

Months after Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman explored the question in 'No Strings Attached,' Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis try their -- ahem -- hands at solving the question in the bluntly titled 'Friends With Benefits.' It's an even raunchier look at the topic, with the two young stars taking off their clothes -- often -- throughout the film's trailers.
Now, a more chaste poster for the flick has been revealed, giving a nice PG-13 sheen to the July 22nd release. Fair enough; Timberlake has another raunch-fest coming out this summer, in his comedy 'Bad Teacher' with Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel. Kunis, on the other hand, will go family friendly in filming the Disney epic 'Oz: The Great and Powerful,' with James Franco, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams.
As for the question of whether friends can introduce more than friendly benefits? Timberlake discussed it last month with Ellen Degeneres.
'It's a really good idea until it becomes a bad idea,' Timberlake he said. 'It probably becomes a bad idea really fast.'
He's hoping people fill the theaters to find out. And if not for that answer, to see him in just a sock.
'We had two weeks' worth of sex scenes to shoot. Justin would just wear a sock that covered his frontal parts, so yeah, I could pretty much see everything,' Kunis said in a January interview with The Advocate. 'And I had tiny nipple pasties and a little pasty on my hoo-ha. Offering up the latest track from her forthcoming record 'Born This Way,' Lady Gaga has released 'Marry the Night.'
Readying the album's May 23 debut, the Mother Monster cultivated yet another creative way to rev up excitement for it, targeting the 46 million people who play FarmVille.

Her music career keeps heating up and Selena Gomez has just posted the cover to her new album When the Sun Goes Down.
The “Wizards of Waverly Place” babe is teaming up with The Scene once again, and the album’s 1920s-flavored artwork is spot on.
According to a report, Gomez also collaborated with Pixie Lott, Antonina Armato, Katy Perry, and Britney Spears on many of the new tracks.
When the Sun Goes Down is scheduled to hit stores on June 28th, though Selena will release a few singles on iTunes leading up to the big day.

Demi Lovato was in a car accident on May 18, 2011. The fender bender took place near Demi’s home in Sherman Oaks, California. Demi and the driver of the car she hit waited for over an hour at the scene to figure everything out.
In the photos from the scene of the accident you can see that Demi’s car received a number of scrapes along the driver’s side in the accident.
