The wait is finally over. By now, you've no doubt heard Lady Gaga's much-anticipated Born This Way album (via means either legal or, uh, not) and you've probably formed an opinion about its 14 darkly sumptuous tracks. It's clear that, on the record, Gaga is going for something big, pushing her sound into bold new territories — territories that apparently include plenty of white-hot sax solos. But has she strayed too far from the things that made her an international sensation?

We certainly have our thoughts on the matter, but we're interested in hearing what her fans have to say about Born This Way's brash, unapologetic reinvention of pop. Not surprisingly, the conversation on MTV.com was pretty animated, and so we decided to single out some of the best comments from our readers and re-publish them below. "The album is an assorted compilation because it reflects her eclectic tastes and influences, which at the same time allows her to showcase her versatility ... it reflects her multifaceted artistry. Lady Gaga's flair for wigs and over-the-top stage spectacles began way back in the day when the pop superstar was in high school. In the new hour-long documentary 'Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside,' set to air Thursday, May 26, at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, Gaga opens up about her transformation from brunette to blonde and how one little wig began her rise to pop superstardom.

'I was so inspired by musical theater like 'Guys and Dolls',' she says in an exclusive interview during the 'Inside the Outside' special. 'But I would never get cast in those roles because I was a brunette.'

Gaga then made a big fashion decision, one that still resonates with her to this day. 'So eventually I bought a wig,' she continues. 'Then I got cast as Adelaide. It was the greatest moment of high school. I tell you, I still dream about it.'

In the intimate chat, Mother Monster opens up about her rise to fame — from being bullied by classmates during her school days to the moment she decided to pursue her dreams of pop stardom. She speaks in depth about the moments that shaped her as an artist, including working on her highly anticipated album, Born This Way, which will be released on Tuesday.

'Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside' also focuses on Gaga at home, spotlighting her close relationship with her family and growing up in Manhattan before she made the life-changing decision to move out on her own to New York City's Lower East Side. Fans will get to know the girl who became Lady Gaga intimately.

Lady Gaga tracks the moments in her life that helped shape her and make the artistic transition from New York native Stefani Germanotta to Lady Gaga, global pop superstar. In an hour-long exclusive interview, 'Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside,' set to air Thursday, May 26, at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV, the star opens up about her ties to her past and how they've impacted the woman she is today.

'I'm really quite traditional, actually, contrary to what some people might think about me. I'm quite traditional in the family sense,' she says, adding, 'My dad was just trying to breathe normally. He's still trying to breathe normally.'

While he might still be trying to adjust to Gaga's outlandish pop persona, her father has always been helping her build the musical foundation she now draws on. 'My parents got me Stevie Wonder 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered' and the Beatles when I was younger,' she recalls. 'Good choices, mom and dad. Don't spoon-feed me the Beatles and Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen and Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and Elton John and expect for me not to turn out this way.

'These were the words that changed my life: 'Have you ever thought about writing music?' ' she reveals in the special, during which she also opens up about other pivotal moments, such as the time she bought her first wig and was cast as Adelaide in her high school's production of 'Guys and Dolls.'

During the intimate chat, Mother Monster opens up about her rise to fame — from her school days of being bullied by classmates to the moment she decided to pursue her dream of pop stardom. She speaks in-depth about the moments that shaped her as an artist, including the upcoming release of her highly anticipated album, Born This Way, on May 23.

As 'Saturday Night Live' wrapped up its 36th season, the show let the
evening's megastar guests, Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake, take the reins; a move which meant a revisit of some of JT's classic 'SNL' gags and a live television moment only Mother Monster could deliver.

JT started the show insisting that he wouldn't be singing during his latest
appearance, only to segue into a ditty during which he busted out his
signature falsetto, serenaded a blushing audience member and brought it on
home with some soulful trills.

But JT didn't stay on the anti-singing kick for long, popping up in the
first sketch as an overeager street marketer in a beer-bottle costume armed
with booze-friendly versions of pop hits. Going up against side-eyes from a
prudish, tea-shilling Kristen Wiig, Timberlake countered with pro-imbibing
jams like a revamp of DJ Khaled's 'All I Do Is Win.' Lady Gaga got in on the
action, too, tottering on set in a snug vine-swathed frock with goblet-shaped
glove thingys to join Timberlake for reboot of B.o.B and Hayley Williams'
smash 'Airplanes,' crooning, 'I could really use a drink right now.' The
pair then belted 'too much merlot' to Flo Rida's 'Low' before switching up
the easy-listening staple 'Endless Love' to 'Endless Buzz,' with lines like,
'No one can deny/ This hooch I have inside.'

Gaga also showed off her comedic skills in a digital short alongside
Timberlake and Andy Samberg. After getting some sugar from mature vixens
Patricia Clarkson and Susan Sarandon, JT and Samberg hit the streets in
Color Me Badd fresh jumpsuits and leather bombers only to both show up at
Gaga's door clutching Alize and Bartles & Jaymes. Looking in gold hoops and a gaudy getup, the pop supernova welcomed them in for an ode to the m&#233nage a trois. "You're my best friend through thick and thin and now it's time to make a triple connection," the crew belted. "It's OK when it's in a three-way. It's not gay when it's in a three-way!"

Gaga's first onstage performance began with a much more subdued tone. Banging
away on a striped grand piano with a silvery crescent-shaped headdress, the
songstress showed off her fiery vocals with an impassioned rendition of
'Edge of Glory.' Then Mother
Monster ditched the intimate vibe -- and the headpiece -- for a
club-ready performance of her speaker-rattling single 'Judas.' Dancers in
dark kilts and strappy, belted bodices backed up Gaga, who coordinated her
two-toned locks, shiny black body suit and thigh-high boots with the striped
stage. After flexing some of the video's high-energy choreography, Gaga
retreated to a ladder on the side of the set for a bit before launching back
into the punchy moves.

JT and Gaga kept cranking out the laughs as the songstress owned Timberlake
in a celebrity edition of 'What's That Name?' While Timberlake handily
identified animated '90s Paula Abdul collaborator MC Skat Kat, the
singer/actor blanked on the name of a bubbly hook-up from two weeks ago, and
even struck out on Taran Killiam as Timberlake's fellow 'NSYNC member Chris
Kirkpatrick. Grinning in a latex blazer and bra, Gaga easily remembered a
fan she met in passing, schooled JT on the purpose of his charity and
rattled off names of the stage crew and audience.

Timberlake put his growing acting skills to work in every sketch, creeping
out Jason Sudeikis as a handsy member of a robotic barbershop trio on a
hokey carnival ride, sparring with Bill Hader's decrepit local news
correspondent and continuously flubbing the retro 'Secret Word' game as a
campy magician peddling crusty tricks.

For her last onstage trick, Gaga revisited the futuristic birth theme of her February Grammy performance of 'Born This Way,' revving up the performance with some S&M touches. Once again, the superstar emerged from an egg-shaped structure, this time however the vessel was adorned with caviar-like lumps. Gaga hit the stage in a cropped latex top with voluminous shoulders and second-skin leggings as fog encircled the singer and her crew. Swapping out the flesh-tone tunics from the Grammy performance for shiny belly-baring tops and slashed culottes, the dancers rocked the choreography as Gaga whipped her blonde ponytail around. Enveloped by her dancers for an onstage costume change, Mother Monster ramped up the drama by getting outfitted with a prosthetic latex-covered pregnancy belly. Gaga vamped it up in the fake baby bump as her crew hoisted her onto a throne and caressed her body, and glitter rained onto the pop diva.

The show closed with a cameo appearance from 'SNL' alum and late-night host
Jimmy Fallon for the 'Barry Gibb Talk Show.' Timberlake reprised his role as
apathetic sidekick Robin Gibb to Fallon's jumpy, karate-chopping Barry as he
grilled guests about the U.S. debt. JT stayed largely mum as Fallon
continued to wig out, only piping up to briefly harmonize, 'We suckled at
the same teat!' Yet Timberlake was quick to revive Fallon when he froze
during a signature freak-out. When the comedian came to, Fallon exclaimed,
'I survived the Rapture!'

Lady Gaga has had a good year. The evidence is pretty obvious: She's sold millions of albums and downloads, headlined a major world tour, made the cover of nearly every magazine and recorded one of the most anticipated albums in ages.

But what really says you're having the best year ever? Leaping over Oprah Winfrey on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list in the same year that the Queen of All Media launched a new network and wound down the most popular daytime talker in the history of the medium.

Lady Gaga topped the list released by Forbes on Wednesday, leaping four spots from last year on the ranking of entertainment industry power, fueled by earnings, media visibility and social media popularity. It's only the third time in seven years that anyone has moved past Winfrey on the list, and Gaga did it by earning $90 million from her Monster Ball tour, rolling up 32 million Facebook fans and becoming the first star to corral 10 million Twitter followers.

All those Little Monsters helped her sell 1 million digital downloads of the title track from the just-leaked Born This Way in five days. They also bought MAC makeup, Monster headphones and Virgin Mobile phones that were endorsed by Gaga (and featured in her videos). Her Monster Ball tour grossed $170 million from 137 shows; she's sold 15 million albums worldwide and has endorsement deals with Polaroid, Monster Cable and PlentyofFish.com. Also, a Russian billionaire reportedly paid $1 million to appear in the 'Alejandro' video.

'Lady Gaga beat Oprah this year because of her social media power. She can use Twitter and Facebook to work the 'little monsters' into a frenzy that leads to record sales and media attention,' Forbes editor Dorothy Pomerantz told Reuters. 'She's the best example of how celebrities will need to manage their careers in the coming years.'

With her syndicated 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' ending its legendary run next week after 25 years, Winfrey didn't fall far to #2, thanks to estimated earnings of $290 million. Her wealth came in as a result of the fees from her show, as well as the programs from the stars she's created, including Rachel Ray and Dr. Oz.

Justin Bieber is the youngest person on the list, debuting on the tally at an impressive #3, courtesy of an estimated $53 million in earnings from concerts (which bring in $600,000 a night), music sales and the 'Never Say Never' movie, which grossed close to $100 million at the global box office and is now out on DVD.

Irish rock legends U2 are at #4 with $195 million, mostly due to their 360 Tour, which became the highest-grossing tour in history last year, with estimated grosses of $700 million by the time it wraps up this summer.

At #5 is Sir Elton John, who grossed $204 million for 102 concerts over the past year. Rounding out the top 10 are disgraced golfer Tiger Woods, Taylor Swift, veteran Jersey rockers Bon Jovi, 'X Factor' boss Simon Cowell and Miami Heat star LeBron James.

Other notables: Angelina Jolie (#11), list newcomer Katy Perry (#12), Johnny Depp (#13), Leonardo DiCaprio (#15), the Black Eyed Peas (#16), "American Idol" host and media mogul Ryan Seacrest (#24), former TV star Charlie Sheen (#28), Beyoncé (#29), Usher (#32), Muse (#34), Jay-Z (#38), "Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez (#50), Diddy (#52), Robert Pattinson (#53), Kristen Stewart (#63), Eminem (#71), Kanye West (#76) and Lil Wayne (#85).

Rihanna, who took three awards home on the night, rocked "S&M" in a spandex, pantless number, adorned with handcuffs and chains, just as her song describes -- hey, she says they excite her. Writhing around on stage, she gave the fans in the building and at home more than a thrill. And that was before a certain guest came on the stage.

Britney Spears, who teamed up Rihanna recently for a remix of the club hit, took the stage in a mask and black version of Rihanna's skimpy attire, and the two traded verses while making use of the conveniently arranged set.

There are two Justin Biebers, just as there are two of every teen star. On one side, sporting a poster-ready smile and just enough corporate-sanctioned rebellious edge to appeal to his tween audience's sense of detention-stakes danger, but still perpetually virginal and single, so that those same devotees can clutch closely the dream of one day being plucked from the crowd (or Twitter) to date their dream boy.

The other: an actual human being, with the desire to date the celebrities which his status affords him -- and slick enough to use the rumors of those flings to keep his name in the conversation.

Without the years of Disney-sponsored acid wash and preparation, Bieber has always lived on the edge when it comes to his teen stardom, more willing to open himself up to cameras, gossip and the occasional scandal. And while he resides in the dreams of millions of teenage girls worldwide, he hasn't been too secretive of his puppy dog love relationships, claiming with a wink that he was single even when it was obvious that he wasn't.

Funny, then, that for much of the past year, Bieber has been linked to Selena Gomez, the one Disney starlet who has remained controversy free (see: Cyrus, Miley and Lovato, Demi). Long the paragon of Disney virtue, she first referred to Bieber as a good friend, like a little brother, and given her year of wisdom over the Canadian wunderkind, it was believable.

But House of Mouse rules be damned, the two have been caught by ever-present paparazzi, trying to sneak kisses and hold hands (that perhaps this is a Disney strategy is a very real possibility, too -- attaching Gomez to the one teen star they can't have is profit and fame by proxy). Gomez even received death threats, with the world's tween audience following the pair's every move. And Justin Bieber's scandalous screen saver.

Still, they pressed on. And since stepping out together at the Oscars, talk show interviews and further photo evidence has largely made it clear that the two are dating, or whatever it is that young stars, forever with adult handlers and agents buzzing near, can call their relationship (note: Bieber is a classic romantic).

Still, it was a bit surprising when, at Sunday night's Billboard Awards, Bieber and Gomez embraced -- and kissed, with lips! -- at the sound of his name being called for winning Top New Artist, one of his five award wins. Gomez was clearly his date -- along side Bieber's mother -- but needless to say, the quick peck will turn into a sonic boom in today's middle school lunchrooms.

Sure, it's not hundreds of millions, but not too shabby for one continent.

The movie knocked Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince off its throne, which was the original international blockbuster with $236 million.

Well done, Johnny and Co.! We have a feeling the Pirates franchise won't be going away any time soon…

There is a new TV series coming to HGTV on June 6th called “My Yard Goes Disney.” Six episodes have been filmed and they will run one per week. The series is hosted by R. BranDon Johnson.

Disney Parks teamed with HGTV for the series, which surprises one family each week with an over the top backyard makeover inspired by Disney and promoting the use of one’s imagination.

Kathleen Finch, GM of HGTV, revealed about the series:

Disney and HGTV are teaming up to transform backyards into the ultimate family hang-out spot. This series features spectacular fantasy makeovers that only the Disney team could imagine and HGTV could pull off.

In just the first episode the family gets a 200-foot long Disney Magic Kingdom-inspired train installed in their yard as well as an oversized teapot and an 8-foot tall sorcerer’s hat. What would you want in your yard that was inspired by the Disney Parks? We would love a bunch of hidden Mickey’s!

Walt Disney Pictures new movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” is currently the top-grossing weekend movie of the year in the US. The film has brought in $90.1 million so far at 4,155 locations in the US.

Sadly however the movie is not doing as well as the previous two films in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. “Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End” brought in $114.7 million in its first weekend in May 2007, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” brought in $135.2 million in its opening weekend in July 2006.
