With the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show now just a month away, we have only one question on our minds: who will walk the runway this season? While there have been countless rumors swirling the blogosphere as of late, we now know of at least a few gorgeous models making the trip across the pond next month!

According to an influx of Instagram posts yesterday, Shanina Shaik, Josephine Skriver, Devon Windsor, Eniko Mihalik, Elsa Hosk and Kelly Gale are all set to join Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel, Lindsay Ellingson, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes and Behati Prinsloo at the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion show, thus causing widespread excitement throughout our office this afternoon.

As for who else is in the cards, all potential Angels need to go through the standard casting process, even if they've previously walked in the show before. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see such VS regulars as Lily Donaldson, Jessica Hart, Maryna Linchuk and Izabel Goulart in the mix, not to mention the UK's reigning 'girls-of-the-moment,' Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn.

Check our the models latest Instagram posts below, and stay tuned for more information regarding models walking in the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airing December 9th, exclusively on CBS!

Sophia Loren Finally Explains Why She Gave Jayne Mansfield The Side-Eye

Sophia Loren Finally Explains Why She Gave Jayne Mansfield The Side-Eye: It might be the most famous case of celebrity shade-throwing ever: Sophia Loren giving a cleavage-baring Jayne Mansfield some serious side-eye at an A-list party in 1957. Fifty-seven years later, Loren has finally revealed what was going through her mind at that very moment.

The photo was captured at a party in Beverly Hills, thrown to welcome the Italian stunner to Tinseltown, according to Vanity Fair. Loren, who starred in one of her very first Hollywood flicks that year, "The Pride and the Passion," was just 22 years old at the time.

Mansfield, on the cusp of her 24th birthday, was the last to arrive at the bash. She came decked out in platinum curls and a revealing dress.

sophia

"She came right for my table. She knew everyone was watching," Loren told Entertainment Weekly. "She sat down. And now, she was barely … Listen. Look at the picture. Where are my eyes? I’m staring at her nipples because I am afraid they are about to come onto my plate. In my face you can see the fear. I’m so frightened that everything in her dress is going to blow -- BOOM! -- and spill all over the table."

On Tuesday, Loren released her memoir, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow: My Life, which chronicles her journey through a career of more than six decades before the camera. She discusses the party in the book, writing:

At that moment, Jayne Mansfield arrived. The crowd of guests parted to let her through as she headed straight for my table. She moved forward, swaying on her heels, perhaps not completely sober, with something grand and imperious about each step she took. She knew everyone had their eyes on her, and how could anyone not gape at her neckline, which was more than generous. It was as if she were saying: "Here comes Jayne Mansfield. The Blond Bombshell!" She sat next to me at the table and started talking -- it was like a volcano erupting. As she got more and more worked up, suddenly I found one of her breasts on my plate. I looked up at her, terrified ... One especially quick reporter took a picture of the scene, and the image went around the world. I refused to autograph it. Hidden behind Hollywood's enchanted kingdom were some coarse and grotesque sides, which I refused to have anything to do with.

On Nov. 12, the American Film Institute will honor Loren at the AFI Fest in Hollywood.

Nicki Minaj Tells V Magazine, 'I Love Women Who Take Control'

Nicki Minaj Tells V Magazine, 'I Love Women Who Take Control':

nicki

Nicki Minaj is weeks away from releasing her third studio album, "The Pinkprint," and she is a woman in control.

Minaj covers Issue 91 of V Magazine for a cover story titled "Queen of Rape." In the editorial, shot by Mario Testino and styled by Robbie Spencer, she makes clear her intention to set an example for other females.

I always feel it’s important for me to show females that they can be in charge of their own situation. I came into the game creating my own brand. I was doing things very early on that set me apart from people who just took orders and allowed their brand to be created for them. I love women who take control, who set standards, and who believe in themselves enough to lead the way in terms of their career. I’ve done that. When I win and when I lose, I take ownership of it, because I really am in charge of what I do. There are a lot of strong male rappers, who’ve influenced me a great deal in terms of my skill, my flow, and my business-savvy side. But at the end of the day, I still want to inspire women.

The 31-year-old rapper is set to release "The Pinkprint" Dec. 15, Billboard reported. It follows 2010's "Pink Friday" and 2012's "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded," both platinum records. The new album's first single, "Anaconda," dropped in August along with a booty-centric music video. The video stirred controversy, but Minaj is quick to hit back at critics.

"If a man did the same video with sexy women in it, no one would care," she told V. "You’re talking about newspeople who don’t even know anything about hip-hop culture. ... They don’t say anything when they’re watching the Victoria’s Secret show and seeing boobs and thongs all day."

In today's male-dominated rap game, Minaj is certainly queen. Still, it didn't always come easy, and she's faced criticism from the opposite gender along the way.

"I talk about that all the time," she said. "I talk about record executives telling me, 'Oh no no no. Female rappers don’t make it anymore. You’ll never get away with that.' ... People who I loved very much attempted to deter me from experimenting with my craft."

Anna Kendrick Has A Great Comeback For People Who Criticize Her Looks:

Anna Kendrick seems to have everything going for her: she's starring in "Into The Woods," she has a killer Twitter account and, most recently, she nabbed the December cover of Marie Claire magazine. But even the lovable, gorgeous and ridiculously retweetable Kendrick still has to deal with her fair share of haters. The 29-year-old opened up to Marie Claire about how she handles it when people criticize her appearance:

“The most common thing that I get is, ‘Am I the only one who doesn’t think that Anna Kendrick is pretty?’"

Ouch. But of course Kendrick has the perfect comeback for that question:

"And you’re like, ‘No, you’re not the only one. Arguably, all of the boys in my high school agree with you,’” she joked.

This definitely isn't the first time the "Pitch Perfect" star has tackled body image criticism head on. In an interview with Glamour magazine back in August, Kendrick explained that she doesn't rely on her image to help boost her career:

“The thing is, my appearance -- that’s never been my moneymaker. I’m fine being small. I’m fine being all the things I am. And I’m happy I’m not supposed to be on the '50 Most Beautiful' list all the time, because that would be super fucking stressful,” she said.

Beyonce's '99 Problems' Swimsuit Is Perfect For Her, But You'll Probably Want It Too

Beyonce's '99 Problems' Swimsuit Is Perfect For Her, But You'll Probably Want It Too: Let's be honest: Beyonce could wear any bathing suit under the sun and look absolutely amazing in it. (Reminder: she's Beyonce.) But this one-piece was both literally and figuratively made. for. her.

The photo she posted to Beyonce.com says it all, but in case you were temporarily blinded by her beauty and couldn't read, the swimsuit says: "99 Problems But My Ass Ain't One." And truer words have never been spoken:

Of course, the swimsuit borrows a line from her husband Jay Z's song, "99 Problems," but we'd like to think Queen Bey was singing "Bootylicious" in her head as the cameras snapped.

Allison Williams Gets Real About Her Weight Loss In Allure Magazine

Allison Williams Gets Real About Her Weight Loss In Allure Magazine:

allison williams

Allison Williams looks incredible in the December issue of Allure, posing for a Neverland-inspired photo shoot ahead of her starring role in next month's "Peter Pan Live!" on NBC.

In the magazine, the 26-year-old "Girls" star opens up about body image, admitting that she's sort of sick and tired of people making assumptions about her weight. There have been mumbles about Williams' so-called transformation since she hit the scene in 2010 after singing a mashup of "Nature Boy" set to RJD2's "A Beautiful Mine," the theme song for the television series "Mad Men." Judd Apatow cast her on "Girls" following the YouTube hit.

"When I did the 'Mad Men' thing, I was graduating from college -- you're college-weight. And so when we filmed the pilot for 'Girls' and even into that first season, I looked like someone I hadn't looked like for four years," Williams told Allure. "But that's still the way it was set in people's minds, so they're like, 'Oh, my God, you've lost weight.' And I'm like, 'This is just the way my body is very naturally.' It’s a little bit stressful to know that there are a lot of people walking around who think I'm constantly just shaking and depriving myself."

But despite all of the appearance talk, Williams -- who is the daughter of "NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams and TV producer Jane Gillan Stoddard -- tries to keep a positive attitude and live in the moment. In a 2013 interview with Town & Country, she stated: "Something that's been lovely about the last couple of years is that I've finally abandoned the pursuit of perfection, which I think I was pretty stubbornly holding on to, just always trying to be the best at everything I did. I grew up enough to realize that the people I respect aren't perfectionists. And I was like, 'Oh, that's so much more perfect.'"

Jennifer Aniston Says She's Had 'More Fun Post-40' Than Ever

Jennifer Aniston Says She's Had 'More Fun Post-40' Than Ever:

cover1

Jennifer Aniston has been in the spotlight ever since her "Friends" days in the '90s, but she says that life as a 45-year-old is better than ever before. As cover star of Harper's Bazaar's December/January issue, Aniston opened up to the magazine about growing older and how being single helped her learn to love herself.

"I've had more fun post-40 than I can remember. From a work point of view, a physical point of view, a psychotherapeutic point of view," the "Cake" star told the magazine.

And although she's always ready to gush about her now-fiance Justin Theroux these days, Aniston also told the magazine that it was important for her to be single for a while before dating the fellow actor:

It really helped me get to a place where I was more comfortable with myself, truly ready for love and for a partner. The past wasn't 'less than.' It was extremely important to my growth as a woman. But if you take the law of attraction, if you only love yourself 70 percent, that's what's going to come back to you. So you fill up that 30 percent, then all of a sudden there's this pure, good love standing right in front of you. Then you realize, 'Oh, this can be easy! It doesn't have to be so hard.'

The actress recently talked about being comfortable in her own skin for her new role in "Cake," in which she appears without makeup. She told Deadline's 2014 Contenders panel that going makeup-free was “so fabulous, and so dreamy and empowering and liberating.”

How The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Wings Are Actually Made

How The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Wings Are Actually Made:

wings 2013

Wings by Killer from the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which serves as a mega-produced kick-off to the holiday season, has only become more of a must-watch event year after year. The show boasts top-notch musical acts, theatrical elements and beauties dancing around in gorgeous lingerie. Arguably the most iconic part of the whole spectacle, however, are the wings. Each year, new Angels are born and current Angels are introduced to yet another massive pair for the runway. The wings not only serve as a rite of passage for the models chosen to wear them, but as a piece of artwork that embodies the sexy aesthetic that is Victoria's Secret.

The story and process behind these wings are way heavier a lift (literally and figuratively) than you might think. On a warm October day, I trek eleven flights up and enter an unassuming gray door to find a team of publicists, Victoria's Secret executives and wing-designer Marian Hose aka Killer gathered for just one of many rounds of fittings.

killer

Aside from the golden, feathered wings the fit model Barbara is wearing when I arrive, about five more are displayed in various corners of the small space, posing some difficulty for anyone trying to move around. Wings are made in everything from leather and lace to five pounds of Swarovski crystals and up close the intricacies of the elaborate designs are clearer than ever. It's no wonder, then, that the lucky ladies who walk in the show wait their entire careers for the moment they get to don a pair of their own.

wing fram

It all starts when an artist, hired by Victoria's Secret, sketches out the concept for a wing. It's then delivered to Killer and her design team who bring the wings to life. "The best part is seeing just how Killer interprets the sketch," Sophia Neophitou, collection creative director for the show, tells me during my studio visit. After a drawing is finalized, it is projected onto a screen, where a model stands in to figure out scale. The team then gets to work. "It takes about a week just to make the frame [but] for a more intricate wing it takes much longer. For something beaded, for example, we have an entire team just working on that part of it," Killer says.

killer studio

While an entire team of beaders may seem outrageous to some, for Killer it's just another day at the office. Her extensive experience in costume design has prepared her for her uncommon title of "Wing Maker." After all, her resumé boasts time spent as a millinery consultant for Radio City Music Hall. She's also worked with the Metropolitan Opera and CBS. She was connected with the lingerie company back in 2009, when one of the sketch artists recommended they work together.

Once Barbara slips a pair of the wings on, it's time to adjust and customize the wings for each girl. "[Barbara] is a huge help because she puts on the wings and knows what we need to change -- she knows which girl poses which way, which is amazing," Killer says. And while the amount and structure of the wings can change up until moments before the show but by October, Killer pretty much has an idea about which wing each girl will wear.

wings

No matter how much you plan for the moment the model puts on her wings for the first time, there is absolutely nothing like experiencing it firsthand. That's where I meet Candice Swanepoel, nearly a month later, putting on those same wings I saw being fit for her specific body weeks prior. The room that has been buzzing with chatter, camera flashes and shuffling of feet is completely silenced once -- with a team of helpers -- Swanepoel has the wings on for the first time. It is a highly-charged moment, broken only by Candice's first glorious steps down a makeshift runway. The straps are a bit tight for her, and are swiftly taken off for an adjustment.

wings 2

"I love having the wings, but I need the freedom to enjoy them as well," Swanepoel tells me. "One year (before we worked with Killer), I tried on this massive pair -- two harps. They were absolutely beautiful. On the morning of the show I got really nervous and asked to try them on the runway, and let's just say it didn't go so well. We decided to forfeit them and go for something smaller."

candice

It's clear that the weight and wearability of the wings are just as important as having that perfect runway strut. It takes the right pair and the right girl to hold up the massive structure, which can weigh as much as a small child. The biggest pair Killer has ever made weighed in at 21 pounds: a pair of white, feathered wings made for Lindsey Ellington. "Lindsey is a real trooper," Killer says, adding, "it doesn't matter how much a girl wants her wings, if they're too heavy we can't use them."

From paper to production, it's clear it takes hard work, a lot of adjustments, some serious time and a whole lot of love in order to make these wings truly killer.

A stunning spread in Shape Magazine's December issue follows the blonde beauty through her morning routine, including her challenging workout regimen.

"I like to shock my body by doing different things," she told Shape. "When I was on tour, even though I was dancing two hours a night, I felt I needed more, so I started doing dance moves with ankle or wrist weights on."

Clearly, the hard work is paying off, and this photo is Exhibit A:

Marilyn Monroe's Long Lost Love Letters Head To Auction

Marilyn Monroe's Long Lost Love Letters Head To Auction: Long before a certain notorious bombshell attempted to break the internet, Marilyn Monroe was the ultimate American sex symbol.

Though many lusted after her from afar, a few choice individuals -- including second husband Joe DiMaggio and third husband Arthur Miller -- got the chance to actually love her. If you're aching to know what kind of relationships transpired between these individuals and Ms. Monroe, you're in luck. A selection of Monroe's personal love letters is heading to Julien’s Auctions, along with an assortment of memorabilia from Monroe's life and work.

marilyn

"I love you and want to be with you," DiMaggio wrote in a 1954 letter, just after Monroe informed him she was filing for divorce. "There is nothing I would like better than to restore your confidence in me."

The objects up for auction from "Marilyn Monroe's Lost Archives" also include letters from friends including Cary Grant and Clark Gable. A particularly adorable note from Miller ends: "Please, if I've ever made you cry or made you even more sadder, ever for a second, please forgive me, my perfect girl. I love you."

arthur

"I knew I belonged to the public and to the world," Monroe wrote in her unfinished biography, "not because I was talented or even beautiful but because I had never belonged to anything or anyone else." While the reigning view of Monroe is of a woman hungry for love and belonging, the notes on sale show that in fact Monroe's life was rich with passion and romance.

Before her untimely death at 36 years old, Monroe willed her archival materials to her acting coach Lee Strasberg, who then gave the bounty to a friend who wishes to remain anonymous. Whoever has been keeping track of the some 300 items from Monroe's stash has done a fine job; most appear to be in nearly perfect condition after all these years.

maril

According to the Associated Press, auction owner Darren Julien estimates the pieces could sell for $1 million or more when they hit the auction block on Saturday, December 6. This also includes the actress' "favorite coat," velvet cocktail dress, makeup and sheer lingerie.

Take a look at some of the loot below and visit the Julien's Auctions website to learn more. The auction takes place December 6, 2014 in Beverly Hills, CA.

Taylor Swift Says 'Women Who Are Killing It' Should 'Motivate You,' Not Threaten You

Taylor Swift Says 'Women Who Are Killing It' Should 'Motivate You,' Not Threaten You:

tswift

Taylor Swift seems to have settled comfortably into her new feminist identity -- and a recent profile of the 24-year-old pop star only confirms it.

In an interview with Time Magazine published on Nov. 13, Swift discussed the women she looks up to and how the sexist double standards female celebrities face impacts her.

Time's Jack Dickey asked Swift what it's like to have her "body picked over" and constantly compared to other famous women's in a manner that most of her male peers don't experience. "I refuse to buy into these comparisons, because you don’t see it happening to men. All you seem to see is 'Which New Mother Is Sexier?' 'Who’s the Hotter Mama?' 'Who’s Got The Better Booty?'" she said.

While the media often insists on comparing women to reveal their flaws, Swift explained that surrounding herself with inspiring women motivates her to be better:

If we continue to show young girls that they are being compared to other girls, we’re doing ourselves a huge disservice as a society. I surround myself with smart, beautiful, passionate, driven, ambitious women. Other women who are killing it should motivate you, thrill you, challenge you and inspire you rather than threaten you and make you feel like you’re immediately being compared to them. The only thing I compare myself to is me, two years ago, or me one year ago.

taytay

Swift added that it's hard to find a female celebrity who hasn't been "picked apart by the media, or scrutinized and criticized for aging, or criticized for fighting aging -- it just seems to be much more difficult to be a woman in music and to grow older," she told Dickey. "I just really hope that I will choose to do it as gracefully as possible."

She also touched on the sexism that she and other artists, such as Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea, experience in the music industry, having to repeatedly prove that they write their own songs.

"My friend Ed [Sheeran], no one questions whether he writes everything," Swift said. "In the beginning, I liked to think that we were all on the same playing field. And then it became pretty obvious to me that when you have people sort of questioning the validity of a female songwriter... It’s a little discouraging that females have to work so much harder to prove that they do their own things."

While it's never fun to witness such sexism, T-Swift is doing an awesome job shaking off all the haters. (Because haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate.)

Head over to TIME to read the rest of Swift's interview.

Hilary Duff Tells Health Magazine She Was 'Way Too Skinny' As A Teen

Hilary Duff Tells Health Magazine She Was 'Way Too Skinny' As A Teen: As cover star of Health's December issue, Hilary Duff told the magazine that she's at a very comfortable place in her life -- with motherhood, her career and her body. But the singer and actress, who rose to fame at a young age thanks to her leading role on Disney Channel's "Lizzie McGuire," says she didn't always feel that way. The 27-year-old got candid with Health about her struggles with her weight as a teen:

When I was 17, I weighed, like, 98 pounds. I was totally obsessed with everything I put in my mouth. I was way too skinny. Not cute. And my body wasn’t that healthy -- my hands would cramp up a lot because I wasn’t getting the nutrition I needed. That constant pressure of wanting something different than I had? I regret that. I feel like there was way too much time spent thinking about that.

Thankfully, these days the mother of one says she's confident with her body:

“This is the body that I have. I have a very athletic build, and I am so proud of what my body has done for me. I had the best, healthiest, strongest pregnancy. And I feel good about myself."

Solange Knowles knows how to throw a wedding.

Knowles married video director Alan Ferguson at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans Sunday. The couple said "I do" in front of about 200 family and friends, including Beyonce and Jay Z.

Beyonce shared photos from the gorgeous party, showing Solange wearing a long white dress with a cape by Humberto Leon for Kenzo, according to Us Weekly. She stood surrounded by other attendees all decked out in white for wedding portraits taken by photographer Rog Walker.

“Everyone I worked with on the wedding are friends who I love,” Solange told Vogue. “Everything was a labor of love.”

Later in the evening, they took the party to the streets of the French Quarter where they danced and lit sparklers.

This is the second marriage for the 28-year-old singer. In 2004, she married Daniel Smith. The two share a son, Daniel "Julez" Smith, born that same year.

Charli XCX Doesn't Care If You Think She's Cool

Charli XCX Doesn't Care If You Think She's Cool:

charli

Sometimes, you just gotta break the rules. We learned that from Charli XCX, who has won over fans and famous musicians alike with her edgy flair and general badassery.

She's the mastermind behind the insanely catchy "Fancy" hook and Icona Pop's totally addictive track, "I Love It." And now, the musician's the center of attention in her very own photo spread and interview in the December/January issue of Seventeen Magazine.

Scroll down for highlights and photos from the feature. Check out the rest of Charli XCX's interview online or in Seventeen's December/January issue, which hits newsstands November 25.

On the future of her career:

“I’m going to build an empire. I'm always writing for someone else. I want to be someone who has her fingerprints all over the pop charts.”

On how her parents coped with her performing at raves:

“My parents knew and would actually come with me. So it was like a weird attempt at rebellion that turned into a family outing. But these were like real, full-on raves and there were lots of drugs and stuff. My mum was kind of freaking out, but they would stand at the back and watch me perform from afar. It was kind of strange, but also cool that they wanted to be a part of it and they were looking out for me.”

On coolness:

“When you’re growing up I think there’s this idea that the coolest people are the ones who are really rude and feverish. But I’ve come to realize that isn’t cool. I think the best people are the ones who are just as nice and fun. This is really cheesy, but you only have one life -- why spend most of it pretending to be cool?”
