Trouble-prone starlet Lindsay Lohan hasn’t had a film in theaters since the 2007 stinkers Georgia Rules and I Know Who Killed Me, but the recently-rehabbed former “Mean Girl” has reportedly found an unlikey “Friend” in America’s Sweetheart Jennifer Aniston.
Aniston, 41, is poised to make her directorial debut within the next year and wants to help LiLo, 24, get her once-thriving career back on track by casting her in a role, those in-the-know allegedly divulged to London’s Daily Star this week.
“Jen thinks it’s about time people gave Lindsay a break. Everyone makes mistakes, but Jen thinks it’s how you deal with them that matters,” says a source close to the eternally-single rom-com star. “Jen is now turning her hand to directing and thinks Lindsay is an incredibly talented actress. She’d love to cast her in one of her films.”
