Vanilla Ice: “I Dumped Madonna For Being Too Sexy!”

Vanilla Ice: “I Dumped Madonna For Being Too Sexy!”: "

It took a couple of decades, but early ’90s rap sensation Vanilla Ice is finally spilling the beans on why he kicked The Material Girl to the curb all those years ago.

While promoting his appearance on the UK reality series Dancing on Ice (think Dancing With the Stars meets the Ice Capades…), the biggest embarrassment to hit hip-hop since Tone-Loc and Flavor Flav says his fiery affair with the much older pop idol started out well enough, but things quickly soured once Ice — real name Rob Van Winkle — learned the his lady had a very — er — let’s just say friendly vagina.

And her controversial book Sex didn’t help matters much.

Van Winkle was just 24 when he took up with the “Into the Groove” singer, then 33, in 1991.

“Going out with Madonna was exciting. She was older than me and a great lover. She’s still the oldest person I’ve ever been with, so that was an experience. Then when the book came out I was so embarrassed and ashamed. It was a porno. She threw me in like I was a product off a shelf and I didn’t appreciate it. That was it and I ended it,” he told News of the World Sunday.

Madge’s Sex book, released in 1992, was a collection of soft-porn, arty black-and-white shots of her getting sexy with Vanilla and a bunch of friends, including Big Daddy Kane and Naomi Campbell.

“I broke up with her after she printed that book [Sex] because I was hurt to be an unwitting part of this slutty package. It was disgusting and cheap,” Vanilla recalls. “We were in a relationship yet it looked like she was screwing all these other people. I thought she was taking pictures and running round naked because she was like that. Then when the book came out I was so embarrassed and ashamed….”

Why Rob! Kissing and telling are we? How late ’80s of you! It sounds like Madge needs better taste in men…Or perhaps she just needs fewer of them to taste.
