Chet Haze (whose government name is Chester Hanks) is the son of Oscar winner Tom Hanks, he also happens to be a self-described “up and coming” emcee. The Northwestern University student made a splash on the web last month when he performed “White & Purple,” a Northwestern anthem over the beat of Wiz Khalifa’s “Black & Yellow.”
Hot on the heels of that — er — success, on Friday, Haze released his latest video for his new song “Freestyle,” which will be featured on a new album, dropping this Valentine’s Day.
