Today, March 22, 2011, marks the first day of the Disney/Pixar “Cars 2″ Agents on a Mission tour presented by State Farm. The 30-city tour kicks off at the Mall of America today where the characters from “Cars 2” will appear as life-sized remote-controlled models for fans in an umber of different cities, including:
- Detroit
- Toronto
- Phoenix
- Philadelphia
- New York
- Boston
- Washington, DC
- Miami
At each event fans will be able to see the “Cars” characters face-to-face as well as see the cars that the characters were modeled after. There will also be a number of “Cars 2″-themed activities, including:
- A video kiosk
- e-photo opportunities
- Games
- Giveaways
Pam El, the marketing vice president of State Farm, said about the event:
State Farm is thrilled to present the ‘Cars 2’ ‘Agents on a Mission’ tour. Like our force of 18,000 agents across the U.S. and Canada, whose mission is to help people realize their dreams every day, families can become secret agents by participating in fun ‘Cars 2’-themed missions at the tour and online.
