This is exactly what we were worried about. She just might not be there yet.
Sources close to Britney Spears are reporting that the pop star wants to postpone her Femme Fatale tour this summer, causing her bosses at Sony to go ballastic!
'Britney has told her management that she wants to push back her concert dates because she's not feeling ready. She doesn't feel she has enough time to prepare and has asked management to pull all her dates and postpone everything until later on in the year. She's a perfectionist and wants everything to be better than ever before. She is having to compete with other huge female stars such as RIHANNA and LADY GAGA now so wants to step the show up. Obviously it's gone down like a lead balloon because venues and staff are booked and ready to go. They are trying to talk her round or at least hoping she'll consider going out in September. Either way, there are a lot of meetings going on about how to announce it and handle it. It's a massive headache.'
They continue that plans to start selling the tickets this Saturday have also been scrapped.
Oh boy. And this is why she should have never been pushed out to do this stuff if her heart's just not in it anymore!
As much as we'd love to see a Britney Spears show, we think this might ultimately be for the best. We'd rather have no show at all than a lackluster one that she doesn't even want to do!
Perhaps that Vegas gig might be a better fit, like we recommended!
