A false copyright claim was filed to VEVO on Justin Bieber’s channel recently and VEVO ended up removing all of Justin’s videos from the site. VEVO spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the incident, stating:
A few videos by Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga were briefly taken down by YouTube as a result of false copyright claims. This issue has been resolved.
When the issue was finally resolved and all of Justin’s videos were restored to the site VEVO Tweeted the following message to Justin’s fans:
Ok, Beliebers…looks like everything is coming back up Thanks for your patience! Down with the hackers! youtube.com/justinbiebervevo.
We’re glad the videos are all back up now!
