Maybe the headline of this article should read “The Word: Some fool expected Beyonce to audition for ‘The Princess and the Frog.’”
Beyonce was apparently in the running to be the voice of Princess Tiana, star of Disney’s “Princess and the Frog.” Rivals included Jennifer Hudson, Tyra Banks, and Alicia Keys. All of them came in to audition and sing with sheet music – all except Queen B.  ”Beyoncé expected an offer, but wouldn’t audition and so she didn’t get one,” casting director Jen Rudin told Page Six.
Of course she expected an offer. When was the last time Beyonce had to audition for something? Movies probably come and sing sheet music to Beyonce to audition for her. The role ultimately went to Anika Noni Rose, who has yet to usurp Beyonce’s place of international megastardom, so she’s probably not losing any sleep over the way things turned out.
Beyoncé made headlines all over the Internet when she appeared to photobomb a teenager at her Melbourne concert. The teenager posted the photo on her Instagram account and it went viral.
But the teenager in question, Valentina, rushed to Mrs. Carter’s defense, saying that she asked the diva to take a photo with her.
