In an effort to celebrate the beauty of everyday women, Almay is ecstatic to partner with Underwood. The new campaign is slated to pop up this week with the singer's face plastered across magazine, online and television ads.
Revlon's global chief marketing officer Julie Goldin described the blonde beauty as the perfect blend of a “real girl from Oklahoma at the core” who is also “a self-professed makeup junkie.”
Underwood raved about Almay’s dedication to promoting a healthy image, saying, “Honestly, I could never be associated with a company I didn’t believe in. I love Almay’s positive approach to beauty because it’s so important to celebrate our natural beauty and enhance what makes us unique.”
Back in 2010, Almay named Kate Hudson as their star, and it was rumored that she signed a contract for up to $3 million. There’s no word yet on Underwood’s deal, nor whether Hudson will appear in any of the brand’s campaigns going forward.
