Fashion Month finally came to a close on Wednesday, and between New York, London, Milan and Paris, legions of models from all over the globe were featured in a whopping 400-something shows (and presentations) over four weeks. But, in a sea of new faces, a handful of girls stood out to designers and casting directors enough to book more shows than the majority of their peers — some even topping 60 runway appearances.

While we were keeping our own personal tallies, we consulted Models.com — which neatly tracked the castings of every runway show this Fashion Month — to introduce you to the top five models of the season. (Well, technically the top eight, since there was a three-way tie for the number five spot.) Get to know them below, since their careers are likely about to take off in a big way.

Nationality: Dutch
Number of shows walked: 66
Why you should get to know her: Verhoef was a Prada runway exclusive at the label's spring 2013 show. Exactly two years and a handful of ad campaigns later — Valentino, Prada and Repossi, specifically — she's the top model of Fashion Month, clocking an impressive number of shows, four of which she opened. Verhoef also closed Hermès, the final show of Paris Fashion Week, and if that doesn't count as a victory lap, we don't know what does.

Why you should get to know her: The 17-year-old first appeared on the scene at Proenza Schouler's spring 2014 show, and since then, she's walked the crème de la crème of runways, including Chanel Couture, Christian Dior Couture, Céline and Givenchy. This season, she held the honor of opening and closing Guillaume Henry's final show for Carven in Paris.

Nationality: Brazilian
Number of shows walked: 61
Why you should get to know her: After getting her start walking Sao Paulo Fashion Week in her native Brazil during the fall/winter 2014 season, Gorczevski quickly achieved international runway domination. She was a Dior Couture exclusive for spring 2014, and has since made runway appearances at Chanel, Fendi, Jil Sander, Chloé, Proenza Schouler and more. This season, she closed the Dior show in Paris.

Nationality: American
Number of shows walked: 52
Why you should get to know her: Boling is definitely having a "moment," which is unsurprising since Alexander Wang took an early interest in her. She starred in the designer's resort 2014 lookbook for Balenciaga, and she's currently a face of the fall 2014 campaign for his eponymous line. Miuccia Prada made her a part of the ensemble cast for Prada's spring 2014 ad campaign, and in addition to scoring campaigns for Coach and Tommy Hilfiger for fall, she's walked over 50 of the top runways the Fashion Month — including opening and closing Tom Ford.

Nationality: Estonian
Number of shows walked: 51
Why you should get to know her: Kuusik's blue eyes, bleach blonde hair and  freckled face are unique and instantly recognizable, so we're not surprised that so many designers are taken with her at the moment. This season, she stars solo in the black and white Edun campaign for fall 2014, and she scored coveted spots in ads for Proenza Schouler, Valentino and Coach this year as well. In addition to becoming a top model on the runway, she's cementing her status as an editorial fixture, and in 2014 she's appeared in the pages of British Vogue, Vogue Russia, Love, Interview and Style.com/Print.

Julia Bergshoeff (Tie)

Meet the 5 Most Popular Models of Fashion Month
Nationality: Dutch
Number of shows walked: 51
Why you should get to know her: Bergshoeff was the sole face of Proenza Schouler's fall 2014 ad campaign, which is a pretty huge honor in itself. This season, she opened Alexander McQueen, closed Giambattista Valli and walked the likes of Balenciaga, Chanel, Valentino, Gucci and Marc Jacobs throughout the month.

Maja Salamon (Tie)

Meet the 5 Most Popular Models of Fashion Month
Nationality: Polish
Number of shows walked: 51
Why you should get to know her: This new face has already starred in more editorials this year than we could keep track of (many of which appear in the international editions of Vogue), and Salamon couldn't be stopped this season, racking up slots on the runways for the likes of Rick Owens, Oscar de la Renta, Kenzo, Dior and Prabal Gurung. Salamon's a versatile one, so we're thinking big things lie ahead for her.
