Last night I watched the premiere of the new "House of DVF." This is a show featuring iconic fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg, and an upclose look behind the scenes of her global fashion business. Eight talented girls are chosen to compete to be the DVF Brand Ambassador. I've always loved her collections and dresses, but this show really showed me just how fabulous Diane Von Furstenberg really is. The Belgian born American designer is known for her famous wrap dress, which debut in 1974. Her empire has expanded to a full collection of ready-to-wear, and accessories, including handbags, shoes, small leather goods, and fine jewelry. DVF also offers luggage, eyewear, and home furnishings. After watching the show, (which I totally enjoyed!!), I really admire her dedication and committment to empowering women, and mentoring these contestants who are competing to become the DVF Brand Ambassador. The show inspired me to showcase some of her popular designs from Nordstrom. The DVF label is sold in more than 55 countries. The above dress is a Diane von Furstenberg Long Sleeve V-Neck Dress. The plunging neckline cascades to create a gorgeous rippling effect at the waistline. Check out more of the fabulous DVF Collection below. Just click on the image, or the description for more information. I've also cropped images for Pinterest at the end of the post. Just click on READ MORE! Enjoy! |
