New York native Allison Williams says farewell as she is flying (flying, flying, flying!) to LA for Golden Globes weekend. While the "Girls" star says she's sure to make a pit stop for her favorite dish (a bowl of spaghetti bolognese, in case you were wondering), she admits that, as of now, her ensemble plans are up in the air. {WWD}

While we're on the subject, Golden Globe viewers should consider adding L'Oréal Paris to their Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr feeds. The beauty brand will be recreating red carpet looks and posting them online as animated GIFs, providing e-commerce links so you can shop the looks. Ralph Lauren has been celebrating the opening of his first NYC restaurant this week. Lauren, wife Ricky and A-List friends like Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and Vanity Fair's Graydon Carter were spotted dining among equestrian art and digging into (what else?) upscale American cuisine. {Page Six}

After closing 33 stores in January of 2014, JC Penney will say goodbye to an additional 39 locations, as well as over 2,000 sales associates. But despite the store closures, JC Penney's stock price is still going strong, climbing 20.3 percent on Wednesday. {WWD}
