Up and coming model, celebrity offspring and Kendall Jenner bestie Hailey Baldwin is starting off 2015 strong. After walking for Topshop’s spring/summer 2015 show, the blonde beauty has returned to London for Jeremy Scott’s Moschino menswear show. Baldwin strutted down the snowy runway wearing a black and white cheetah-print bra, metallic snow pants and ski goggles. See the full look above. {Ford Models Blog}
Speaking of Jeremy Scott: remember those winged high-top sneakers Scott created for Adidas way back when? Well, the design is being recycled as the bottle for his first Adidas Originals fragrance. The unisex scent is described as a "fresh towel smell" and will hit stores in February. We’ve seen that Scott enjoys an unusual perfume bottle, but we're told the one he’s holding in the campaign photo (shot by Inez and Vinoodh) is an enlarged version. {Fashion Gone Rogue}
This past holiday season wasn’t filled with as many little blue boxes as Tiffany & Co. would have liked. The rough end-of-year sales period forced the iconic jewelry brand to adjust its full-year earnings down for 2014, causing shares to fall by 11 percent. The luxury jeweler reported $1.02 billion in worldwide net sales during the last two months of 2014, a 1 percent dip from the same time period in 2013. {Forbes}
Saks Fifth Avenue is trying to win a lawsuit (and apparently alienate the entire LGBTQ community) by claiming it has the legal right to discriminate against transgender employees. The case in question comes from former employee and transgender woman Leyth O. Jamal, who was dismissed at a Texas Saks for expressing her gender identity at work. According to Saks, trans people are not protected by Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, making the decision perfectly legal. Even if the written law is on its side, the luxury retailer must realize that saying it has the right to discriminate against anyone is basically asking for a PR disaster. {Dazed}
Club Monaco black-and-white ad campaigns are back for spring 2015, this time lensed by Inez and Vinoodh. Following in the footsteps of previous campaign photographers like Bert Stern, Patrick Demarchelier and Richard Avedon, the photos highlight clothing by using a simple backdrop. {Complex}
