Stars Prepped for the Globes in Short Dresses This Week:

The Golden Globes are this Sunday, which means everyone has flocked to the West Coast for the slew of parties that precede them. Perhaps realizing that the Globes are the first of many events in the next couple of months that call for gowns, ladies like Lena Dunham, Rosamund Pike and Julianne Moore opted for shorter hemlines this week.

Dunham, for whom Sunday also marks the season premiere of her show "Girls," looked the best we've seen her look maybe ever (though we're not sure about the braids) in a black Saint Laurent fit-and-flare dress. Pike's floral Alexander McQueen babydoll frock was super-pretty and we almost can't deal with how good Moore looks in red off-the-shoulder Delpozo.
