Why not close out Fashion Month with one more rumor concerning the ongoing game of designer musical chairs? The latest word out of Paris is that Schiaparelli, the Italian couture house owned by Tod's CEO Diego Della Valle, is looking to hire another talented couturier to replace Creative Director Marco Zanini, who departed in November after just a year on the job.

According to WWD, the label is in talks to hire Valentino's Bertrand Guyon for the role. Like Gucci's new creative director, Alessandro Michele, Guyon is a relative unknown in the fashion industry. He reportedly has extensive training in couture, having graduated from the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, and worked at Christian Lacroix and Givenchy in addition to Valentino.

A rep for Schiaparelli told Fashionista that the company does not comment on press speculation.
