Actress Carey Mulligan fronts the May issue of Vogue in a decidedly more laid-back, romantic fashion than her previous Gatsby-themed cover. Kind of a breath of fresh air from all the other (Jenner-filled) May covers we've been seeing so far. {Vogue}

Good news: G-Star isn't the only retailer concerned with ocean plastic. The North Face will now be expanding its Clothes the Loop recycling program to all of its 83 retail and outlet locations in the States. The initiative, which reuses or reverts customers' unwanted apparel and footwear back to basic materials, has diverted 14,540 pounds of clothes from landfills since February 2013. So, guess it's time to make good on your spring cleaning plans. {WWD}
