There's no doubting that white lace is in this season, not just because it's the perfect thing to wear in warm spring weather, but also because it was all over the runways.
So of course, when a pretty young actress like Lucy Hale attends an event in spring —in L.A., a place that's actually warm (coughUnlikeNewYorkcough) — she chooses a white lacy dress. This one by Self-Portrait, which Hale wore to an event for beauty brand Mark., is particularly successful because the sweetness of the white lace is undercut by strategic sheer panels, black trim at the neck and waist and her sophisticated black (and clear!) pumps. Hale keeps the beauty look daytime-appropriate with a lightly-styled bob and a smokey eye.
