Party Pics: Inside Vogue Magazine’s Pre-Met Pajama Party:

With many of the world’s top models, designers, and A-list celebrities making their way to New York City this weekend, there proved to be no better time for fashion’s finest to gather for a little celebratory warm-up ahead of tonight’s star-studded Met Gala.

On Saturday night, event co-chairs Liu Wen, Wendi Murdoch and Laurent Claquin, head of Kering Americas, kicked things off by hosting a dazzling party at the Baccarat Hotel not far from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  The supermodel was joined by a number of the designers who will be dressing the stars for tonight’s highly anticipated red carpet event including, Christopher Kane, Giambattista Valli, Jason Wu, and Zac Posen, along with a host of top models— Lindsey Wixson, Arlenis Sosa and Catherine McNeil included.

Following the cocktail event, the style setters moved their way over to Chinatown’s famous Nom Wah Tea Parlor, where Vogue magazine was busy celebrating this year’s theme, “China: Through the Looking Glass,” with its very own pajama party. Models including Hailey Baldwin, Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid, Andreea Diaconu, Constance Jablonski and Xiao Wen Ju were treated to a festive dim sum feast, a spectacular lion dance performance by Chinatown Community Young Lions, and plenty of champagne and sparklers.  Between the guest list and the “Pearl River-fabulous” themed dress code, it certainly made for one of the most glamorous PJ parties we’ve ever seen.
