Gisele Bundchen's Limited-Edition Coffee Table Book Will Cost $700

Gisele Bundchen's Limited-Edition Coffee Table Book Will Cost $700:

Gisele Bündchen, who retired from the runway in April and is still the highest paid model in the industry according to Forbes, will commemorate her 20-year-long career with a limited-edition coffee table book, appropriately titled "Gisele." With more than 300 photographs by the likes of Irving Penn, Juergen Teller, Inez & Vinoodh, Corinne Day and David LaChapelle, the 536-page hardcover tome was personally curated by Bündchen in collaboration with Creative Director Giovanni Bianco. Photographer Steven Meisel is also credited as a contributing author. Alongside these images are personal anecdotes from the 35-year-old Brazilian model's family, friends and fashion industry colleagues.

But a Kim Kardashian "Selfie" book this is not. "Gisele" will be available in November from Taschen, with an exclusive run of just 1,000 copies. The first 100, known as the "Art Edition," are extra special, as they come with a W magazine print of Bündchen from 2005 signed by Juergen Teller — a package that will set you back a cool $2,000. The other 900 copies, or the "Collector's Edition," will be numbered and signed by Bündchen herself, and retail for a slightly more reasonable $700.

Looking for a budget-friendly alternative? We suggest the Oct. 2015 issue of Vogue Paris, which features Bündchen on one of its four collectible covers commemorating the publication's 95th anniversary. But it's never too soon to start dropping hints to your deep-pocketed friends and family for the holidays.
