Joey Potter’s feeling a little inadequate.
Tom Cruise’s exes have all gone on to bigger, better, and brighter things since splitting with the Scientology fanatic — a fact which seems to be tap-dancing on the last nerve of Cruise’s current wife, Katie Holmes, according to Britain’s Daily Star.
In an article titled Katie Holmes: Haunted By Tom’s Exes, the paper writes: “Katie Holmes is distraught as her once-charmed life is unraveling in despair and disappointment. When Katie and Tom met, the megastar reportedly told Katie he had the power to make her a Hollywood sensation.”
Katie appeared in her last good movie, Batman Begins, before she met the actor and her recent miniseries The Kennedys was dumped by The History Channel before ultimately being picked up by Reelz TV. (Any station which ends its name with a “Z” is alright in our book! That’s the mark of quality programming right there.) By comparision, Tom’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman has an Oscar, a country superstar husband, and two daughters. His ex, actress Penelope Cruz, has an Oscar, a hunky hubby and a new baby. Sofia Vergara – who reportedly ran for the hills when Cruise tried to introduce her to Scientology – has Modern Family. And do we even have to discuss Cher?!
Katie, on the other hand, has the man himself. Um…lucky her?
