She is certainly a beautiful girl inside and out, and Selena Gomez is featured on the cover of next month’s Teen Vogue issue.

The Disney darling opened up to the mag about a number of things including her first single “Who Says” from her forthcoming third album.

Of the song, Selena told, 'I just thought they needed it, because of bullying,' she explains. 'I hope it inspires them to be who they are.'

And as for her Kmart clothing line, Dream Out Loud, Gomez explained, “It all started from a little girl saying that she'd picked out an outfit just like mine. I like flow-y, open clothes, rather than tight-fitting,' she says, 'although I'm getting a bit more confident in my skin.'

Gaga’s cover is timed to her inaugural monthly column for the mag. The issue is also being billed as the “Asia” issue (the Cut has a preview of some of the editorials featuring today’s top Asian models). Gaga is not Asian. Discuss.

The photog duo have also released a preview of an alternate Bollywood-inspired cover on their tumblr which features Gaga with a nose ring, her face another model (that’s not Gaga, right?) heavily appliqued with sequins and general bling.

ABC Family Original Movie “Cyberbully” Starring Emily Osment: "

Emily Osment stars in a new ABC Family Original Movie “Cyberbully” alongside Kelly Rowan (“The OC”) and Kay Panabaker (“No Ordinary Family”). The movie is part of an initiate, Delete Digital Drama, set up by ABC Family and Seventeen Magazine, which works to bring awareness to the youth issue of digital abuse and bullying.

In addition to the movie on ABC Family, Seventeen magazine will feature a story in its August issue with stories from readers and ABC Family stars about their own experiences with bullying.

“Cyberbully” is about the character Taylor Hillridge (Emily) who is a teen girl who falls victim to online bullying. Here is the description from ABC Family:

“Taylor is a pretty seventeen-year-old high school student but a little awkward, and painfully aware of it. When her mom gives her a computer for her birthday, Taylor is excited by the prospect of freedom and independence of going online without her mother always looking over her shoulder. However, Taylor soon finds herself the victim of betrayal and bullying while visiting a social website, and afraid to face her peers at school, including her best friend (Panabaker), she is pushed to an extreme breaking point. It is only after this life-changing event that Taylor learns that she is not alone — meeting other teens, including a classmate, who have had similar experiences. Taylor’s mom, Kris (Rowan), reels from the incident and takes on the school system and state legislation to help prevent others from going through the same harrowing ordeal as her daughter. ‘Cyberbully’ was written by Teena Booth, directed by Charles Binamé; executive producers are Michael Prupas and Joel Rice.”

“Cyberbully” will premiere on July 17th at 8pm ET/PT.

Another day and another celebrity steps up to prove they’re an animal lover/champion of animal rights.

‘Tik Tok’ singer Kesha is fronting a new anti-seal hunting campaign for (who else?) PETA.

The pop star has agreed to feature in a new advert with a baby seal in a bid to highlight the annual slaughter of seal pups less than a month old in Canada.

The advertisement is emblazoned with the slogan “Canada’s Club Scene Sucks”, (clever right?) and the animal rights organization is planning to display posters of it at various music festivals and at Kesha’s concerts to raise awareness of the practice and hopefully persuade a host of teenagers to write letters to the Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper asking for seal clubbing to be banned.

Revealing why she got involved in the project, the 24-year-old pop star said: “I was lucky enough to get to watch a bunch of wild seals recently and truly fell in love with these amazing creatures.

“Canada gets to be host to harp seals each year during their migration to the ice to give birth which is beautiful and peaceful. But because the babies’ fur is so soft, there are people who club and brutally kill these young animals. The Canadian seal slaughter is barbaric and archaic.”

Regardless of what questions you might have about Kesha’s motives, killing baby seals for their fur does seem pretty barbaric in the 21st century, however, whether an eccentric dressing pop musician who sings about being turned on by transvestite men (‘Take It Off’ in case you didn’t know) can stop something that has gone one for hundreds of years we’re not so sure.
